Items not showing

Team,

I got a question.... // so I downloaded some items like police and fire stations and others alike and drop them in the plugins folder

but they don't show up in game. I check and it does not say that required any dependencies.

Is there is like a universal dependency that I need for those items to show up?

To give you an example I download the Maxis_Buildings and copy a few of those items to the plugin directory but they don't show up.

Any idea?

Thanks

The first thing that comes to mind is what type of file did you download? If it's a .zip then did you un-zip it or just copy it into Plugins?

For this one, that's a sort of a tool. It can be a dependency for other lots, but it doesn't make anything new show up.

Let's go with another specific download and we can help you from there.

That one shows up fine. It's in the Schools Menu.

Ok ... that one did show up. But I don't know what's going on because the SC4D LEX Legacy BSC Common Dependencies Pack

is also not showing. And I install the Java as mention in the readme and nothing !!!   =: (

That's fine. We don't expect anything from there to show in and of themselves. It's a passel of textures and props (including buildings as props). These are items which are used by other growable and ploppable lots. It'll be the added decorations so-to-speak.

Thanks....may it be the Visual C++ Libraries the problem? I just installed a fresh copy of Win 11.

Not sure if that may ne the problem.

Which of those Libraries should I need?

Since we don't expect any new buildings to show up from installing the dependencies packs, I don't believe there is any problem. *;)
