What's the difference between the CJ Forum and the separate CJ section?

I consider starting a city journal. Back in the old days, there simply was the CJ forum. Today, there also is a "dedicated city journal section" - can someone please explain the difference to me - thank you!

The old style CJ forum is where you start a topic that is your CJ and then it's just like any other thread in any of the forums. You post a post (prolly with pics and narrative) and then anyone who replies posts posts under yours. When you are ready for your next update you post again and that might be the 3rd or 7th or whatever post in the thread.

In the dedicated CJ section it's sort of like a book and each time you post it's a new chapter and then comments are per chapter under what you presented. For peeps following along later they can get to each of your entries much easier.

If you like, just start one in the dedicated section to play around with and then we can hide it once you've got the feel for it. If you @mention me (so I get beeped) I'll come leave a comment or three to help you see how that goes.

Sounds good. And if you just want to go live with it then there's no need to hide it later. Whichever way you decide is fine.
