MODS that HAVE to be reinstalled

Gents,

Normally you can move installed mods/buldings/lots/etc. by just copying from the OLD SimCity 4 folder to the new one. (Like, when upgrading your drives).

What mods, other than NAM, HAVE to be reinstalled rather than copied?

NAM only for the 4gb patch, am I right?

CAM modifies SimCity_1.dat. So, unless you have the modified file, it has to be reinstalled.

NAM can be copied, but indeed the 4GB patch won’t be applied if for any reason you’ve had to reinstall SC4 itself. Even then you can just use the 4GB patcher standalone.

As a rule mods for SC4 just require the data to be present in the correct location.
