SC4 map turns blue?

so i don't know why or when this started happening but after every time i save , the outer map turns like a sky blue. And then there are yellow streaks all over. i have the mapper and downloaded maps but this even happens on other maps like the generic smc4 maps like Fairview and tutorial maps. even after deleting all the mods, it still does this, please help. Also the outer map is black when it used to be a navy bluish right?

Your symptons sound rather familiar, and I believe have been asked about in the forums in the past. But I'm kind of doing this from memory...

A few things to check:

• 1. Is your game set to run in Hardware or Software mode?
• 2. Are the 5 'Background' image files in the Program Files/Plugins directory (not the User/Documents/Plugins)?
• 3. You might check your video settings; particularly 'Antialiasing' (if that applies).

Granted, if your issues started after the game had been running correctly for a while, I'm not sure how or why any of these items would have changed.  You might let us know if you've made any changes to your system or the Plugins recently, if any.
