Happy 30th Birthday SC2000!

LGR dropped this reminder yesterday that one of the greatest games of all time recently hit 30 years old!

What are your memories of SimCity 2000?  Personally I was never able to stay focused long enough on any city to reach some of the later milestones like military bases, the llama dome, and arcos.  But  this game was a solid obsession for a year or two of my childhood.  It absolutely hits a sweet spot of complexity like Clint says which I've always found later games in the genre more overwhelming that I would like them to be.

No memories, but I am going thru my sc2000 folder and will be uploading a number of files that I missed including when I originally set up the club, hope to have it done before xmas

Have finally made a start going thru all my old backups and also the wayback archive, re-organizing some of the files as I go and as I also found I had a number of MAC files as well so have set up another download area for the MAC files

Have done a final check thru my computer and backup drives and have uploaded everything to the club that it was possible to save from the old SC3000 website
