Hello all,

hope you are fine.

I installed NAM 47 and it works until i installed the new SC4D_LEX_LEGACY_BSC_Common_Dependcies_Pack_V1.jar from SC4 Devotion. Since this time RRW is showing the standard " grey" railtrack when going a curve etc. and build the new highway i get an red arrow only. NAM is the version from March 24 2023

Is there any conflict known with one of the dependcies and NAM? Or what could solve the problem?

Many thx for the time you invest in this wonderful game and im pleased to hear from you soon

Regards,

Jo

Hi there,

Are you absolutely positive, that you have installed the SC4D_LEX_LEGACY_BSC_Common_Dependcies_Pack_V1.jar? Did you happen to run the cleanitol file that is built into that installer? The current version of the BSC Common Dependnecies is SC4D_LEX_LEGACY_BSC_Common_Dependencies_Pack_V6.jar, which gonna receive a major update in the coming weeks. I don't know how or when you did get that very first version of the dependency pack, but those first two versions had their own issues with the cleanitol, so I can imagine, that it might have removed something that it was not supposed to from the NAM folder. By default there isn't any conflict between NAM and the dependencies, specially there isn't anything which would have affect on the RRW or on Highways.

What you can do from this point:

1) download the most recent version of the SC4D LEX Legacy - BSC Common Dependencies Pack (that is V6 at this point - bear in mind to check back regularly as we still update the pack occasionally)
2) install it with running the built in cleanitol
3) remove the Network Addon Mod folder completely (manually)
4) run the installer of the Network Addon Mod V47 again, make sure that you check everything that you need - there are options (especially for the old puzzlepieces), that are not getting installed anymore automatically by default, you need to select it manually in order to install them.

What is not working? You need to be a bit more specific...

Can you drop some screenshot about the issue. Have you re-installed NAM properly? Where do you see the red arrow, which features do you want to use?

Typically when you see red arrows, that is a sure sign that the NAM controller is being messed with or missing entirely.

Completely remove and then reinstall the NAM following the procedure outlined in the Readme, if it still doesn't work you've got conflicting NAM/controller files somewhere and these will need to be removed before it can work.

Do you actually understand how Cleanitol works, because it's just checking you have a bunch of files listed in the .txt file you just ran. This absolutely does not mean everything in your entire Plugin folder is up to date or working, in fact with the new re-orginaisation and renaming of files, old Cleanitol files are not something I'd be using anymore.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.
