Hello, having a bit of trouble getting this mod to work.

I'm a big a fan of IRM, loving the way it looks and changing how industry works.  I've wanted to change things up a bit since I'm rebuilding my plugins folders after a long hiatus.  This time I wanted to give CAM a try after seeing this mod for IRM to make it work with CAM.

I simply cannot get IRM to work while CAM is installed.  Both of them will work just fine from what I can tell if I take either one out and try just one mod to make sure its working fine on its own.  I've been trying use IRM Base Pack (so I can get those beautiful relots) with this CAM version of IRM and CAM.  The load order doesn't seem to make any difference.  I'm not really sure what else I can try aside from learning how to edit the files and somehow make them work together.

Any advice if you have experience using this mod would be very much appreciated.

Hmm, from my experience, IRM should work fine with CAM. IRM don't affect files other than lot and building examplars.

Are You sure that IRM load after CAM? CAM files are on .dat format, so they always load after .sc4lot files, regardless of file structures.

Also - IRM lots are usually bigger than base Maxis lots - maybe they can't compete with smaller lots with more jobs

so, make sure you don't have both the CAM IRM and the Vanilla IRM, as there will likely be some conflicts (primarily with the growth stages).

Next, make sure that whenever you run your cities, that you've cleaned up ALL industrial lots in all cities taht you want to use the IRM in. My suggestion is, pick one region you're interested in playing now, and wipe out all the industrial areas, then save and quit the game once all the cities in the region have been dealt with. After, drop in IRM, then play the game and run each city till they've picked up their industrial bases back.

If you drop IRM in before cleaning up your industry you start getting weird effects with tiles and texutres being scattered about and it becomes a problem as it can obscure stuff in the game.
