Club question

not that it matters, but the banished club doesn't have the "join" button. is mebbe because designated 'public' instead of 'open'

again, i don't think it makes a difference, except for not showing little member icons, but i'm a button masher at heart, lol

this is a delightful option, since we don't quite merit our own subforum...

Have been given to understand that this was discussed a while back and at the time there really weren't enough people posting about banished stuff to have a subforum .... I think this is one of those things the site staff are going to be keeping an eye on re future requirements, if it happens we will all wake up one morning to find the moving trucks have been in

Do we want to be more closed?

I mean, aside from the button and the icons, it would give me more control over users - more jobs.

All three of my clubs are public because some of the files in them Simtrop users have gone and linked to them in posts and also in SC4 files and it seems if you add a membership requirement it causes no end of problems unless the person that clicks on the link already belongs to the club, and while that's probably less of an issue when it comes to a banished file at the moment given we only have one banished club and not alot of banished users on the site if that changes in the future I think you will run into the same issues.
