I'm new here so I apologize if this was asked previously.

Is there a way to make a FLUP that brings traffic through it normally? I like using FLUPs for rail-avenue (or certain rail-road) crossings in many cases but it doesn't let traffic through. In many cases, it is unrealistic to have so much train and auto traffic together at an at-grade avenue crossing. I want to be able to let traffic flow normally through an underpass. Also, can other designs for underpasses be created? I'd like to also have metallic colored underpasses, especially brown and black, which is more realistic for many rail underpasses.

Have you placed the FLUP crossing tiles across the railroad?

Most of the White Parts (Maxis Sidewalk) are simply textures that are possible to change, for example I have mods that include these pieces as part of a larger overhaul of sidewalks. Note that the RAMP models themselves have a certain amount of the default sidewalks 'baked-in' and whilst those are technically possible to change, it's an absolute pig to do in practise unless you are a whizz with Photoshop or similar.

My SWN mods (STEX), available in three sidewalk variants or Rivit's RUM for RRW contain ready to use replacements for these setups, you might want to take a look there first. Otherwise, it is possible to use automation to create totally custom variants, there is a link in my signature to a bunch of tutorials/resources I've put together on that side of things.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.
