    Clair Ramos, July 2065

Clair Ramos was born in October 2036, at the later demolished Cepero Hospital, at the time located at Arthur M. Leroy’s Road. The daughter of Shipping Assistant Ben Sánchez and Museum inspector Nora Ramos. Clair had a turbulent childhood, with the family moving several times due to changes in the family's financial situation. In 2059 she left the family to live with boyfriend Juan. As it turned out he was unfaithful, she moved back in 2063. While living at home, she finished her 2nd level education at President Williams School. This winter she was offered a good job at Coffee Shop Tropico through a friend. Clair finally left her parents, 29 years old, finding a small apartment at Ruiz Tower, Cattle Road. Clair dates, but still haven’t found the right one.

    August 2065

The government committee, led by Professor Olga Ferrara. Have now come up with some concrete suggestions to better the economy. Not the full list, but two first suggestions. First and foremost, they suggest to allow for more immigration, to fill vacant job positions. The government accepted to loosen up for a period of 1-2 years, attempting to attract cheap uneducated workers. Secondly the committee asked for fundings, to help owners demolish rental properties, in order to reduce the number of empty apartments. Something that burdens society with unnecessary maintenance costs. An initiative that was also approved by the government, despite a risk of increased homelessness. Apartment buildings in 2nd row at Pasture Road and several buildings in North District was demolished during August month. More will likely follow in the coming months.

A small park was created replacing the apartments at Pasture Road.

September 2065 - Loyal to Familia

Crime Reporter Nerea De Jong from TV1 City, have created a broadcast about the criminal underworld. With focus on the Loyal to Familia organization:

    “The Family”

"Loyal to Familia first came to light in the late 1980’s, at the time led by Mr. Walsh. Mr. Walsh was accused and convicted for drug trade. Although it was never proven in court, it is clear that Mr. Walsh controlled the Shipyard, the Diver’s Club and the night club Babilonia, all located in the Bounty Bay area of Harbor District in what is today Ruíz City. After his release in the early 1990’s, a gangster war started. Mr. Walsh disappeared and was later found dead. The organization was now in the hands of “The Old Lady” aka Louise Roux and her family. Louise Roux died in 1999. The same year most of the family was killed by police officers. Her daughter OneShot Beatriz was in Florida, at the time. Italian born, Chiara Schumacher , took control of the organization. Although she may have been a puppet of Beatriz. Under Chiara’s leadership, Loyal to Familia infiltrated the hippie communities in North District. Drugs, prostitution and handling of stolen goods, now flourished in the “free villages”. OneShot Beatriz came back and took control in 2009. In 2019, She was found dead in Rotterdam, inside a refrigerated container."

OneShot Beatriz ruled “The Family” from Bounty City Motel, but is there still criminals there?

    drJGdfO.jpeg

"Beatriz’s lieutenant Andreas Schulz took over, until his arrest in January 2021. Since then, the structure and leadership of Loyal to Familia have been unclear. In 2035 special agent Valeria Martin found a shipment of cocaine in Freaks Village. Police stormed the village and burned it to the ground. Several high ranked members of Loyal to Familia was arrested, including brothers Max and Daan Van Beek, whom may have been the leading family at that point. Valeria Martin would later be promoted to Head of the Presidential Legal Department, she is also known for her expensive anti-seismic bunkerIn the following years “Loyal to Familia” was weakened and other gangs appeared, especially at Cepero Islands and D’Angelo Island. In the late 2040’s a war broke out between the gangs. Resulting in the formation of a military task force to fight organized crime and protect the public. Things calmed down, arguably do to Loyal to Familia's ability to absorb the other gangs. But the violence did not stop. In 2052 High ranked Loyal to Familia member, Kaamran Ahmed, died in a shot-out with the police, during an arrest attempt. In 2055, Red Eye Jesse, of the organization’s Cattle Road branch, was assassinated. Allegedly, in an internal struggle within the organization. Since then, things have been relatively silent. TV1 City’s “Night Streets” will continue the investigations, in the coming episodes."

    October 2065

A heavy rainstorm triggered a large landslide on the northwest side of the Cepero Mountain Chain. Tons of mud and rocks slid down the cliffs and crashed into the side of the Bounty State Medications laboratory building. Fortunately, no one was working in the middle of the night, so only material damage was caused to the building. Parts of Medicine Square, in front of the building, were also destroyed.

The roads and square were reconstructed. The building will remain unchanged, with a few laboratories taken out of service.

    December 2065

Kanoa Sanz was born in February 2040, the son of María Sanz and John Hallett, and the little brother of Myra Sanz. He also had another half-sister Mónica, but she died 14 years before he was born. Soon after Kanoa was born, his patents, who did not life together at the time, moved into an apartment at South Jungle Tower. Starting a lifelong partnership. Kanoa’s father had always dreamed of working as an artist, when the dream came trough in 2045 the family moved to a cheaper apartment in Miner’s Village, where Kanoa spend most of his childhood. Kanoa graduated from President Williams School in 2052, and went to study at the university just as his sister Myra did before him. The following year he lost his father. The family was forced to move to a worn-out apartment at South Cepero Road. In the late 2050’s, his mother María found comfort and most importantly financial security in French widower Paul François. Moving the family into his house at the corner of Smirnov Road and Arthur M. Leroy’s Road. Kanoa graduated from university in 2061, but had a hard time finding suitable work and stayed at the home of his mother and Paul. Kanoa came out of the closet, in 2064. Now openly dating Lumberjack Mariano López. Moving into his apartment at Lucia Village in February 2065. Still unemployed, he is acting as the housewife in the young family. Kanoa lost his mother in May. He keep contact with Paul, having a good relation with both his stepfather and Paul’s daughters Nora and Ana.

Mariano currently works at HIQUEA Ltd South Logging. Not a well-paid job, getting just 44,8 pieces per hour. Making the couple one of Bounty’s poorest families. Just a few days ago Mariano was offered a job at Jørgen Jensen Sheep in Mountain Village. The job providing a salary increase to 62,3 pieces per hour. The couple is undecided, would be a huge change moving away from most of their friends and Kanoa’s step family. On the other hand, Mariano’s parents live in Plateau Village and the salary is off course tempting. It will likely come down to, if they can find a relative cheap apartment in the area.
