Nora Lewandowski Feb.1996

Nora Lewandowski is the daughter of Josefa Sanz and granddaughter of Greta Navarro. Nora left her family in 1977 to marry four years older Jakub. The couple settled at Cepero Main Waterfront at got their first child Mona. In 1982 followed their 2^nd daughter Dorothea. Soon the family moved into Moria Tower at Adrian Pérez Road in the southwestern part of Cepero Town. Now 39 years old, Nora has worked at R. Johnson Cotton plantation since 1984. 43 years old Jakub started working at South Industrial Harbor in 1983. Their daughter 20 years old Mona moved out. 13 years old Dorothea attend school at President Williams. Nora’s health hasn’t been good the last few years, she definitely should see a doctor soon, before things get out of hand. Politically Nora is very conservative finding it hard to choose between The Right-Libertarians and Humanity First as she agrees with both. Nora is a member of Spiritual Baptist Church.

Cristina Leroy Sep.1996

Cristina Leroy’s lost the father of her children Noddy Leroy in the 1964. Two of her sons also died. Jon Leroy in a traffic accidence in 1972, 15 years old. Ángel Leroy in 1980, 19 years old. Luckily her first born son Hugo survived and brought her a grandson Finn. After the death of her husband, she lives with 49 years old Alejandro García. Both soldiers and both stationed at the old town fort. They left the preserved colonial era house, when Fenna Tower was constructed a few years ago. 65 years old Cristina Leroy belongs to Bounty Islands lower middle class, just as her closest friends. Yelena Pérez, Isabel Schmidt and Lucia Wagner. Cristina Leroy is a practicing Catholic, always voting for the Christian Democrats. She is immune to most environmentalist nonsense.

Louise Roux & Roxy, Mar.1997

Mr. Walsh who was the leader of Loyal to Familia since it was formed in the early 80’s is today 63 years old, he was released from prison in 1991, leading the organization from Club Babilonia. Due to intelligence reports from secret service, a gangster war started in 1994. Renown female drug dealer, 71 years old Louise Roux, with the help of her 58 years old “loverboy” called Roxy and her completely ruthless three children OneShot Beatriz, Rahan Juan and Carlos O’path Pérez wanted to take over Loyal to Familia. Many bodies washed ashore before the war was over and Mr. Walsh disappeared. The organization is now on paper led by Roxy, although everyone knows the brain behind is Louise Roux.

Brandon Clarke, Oct.1997

Famous Actress and radio host Stephania Potalivo died today 62 years old from a stroke, just an hour before she was supposed to be on the red carpet, promoting a new film at Cine De Loro on Cattle Road. She was the lover of Brandon Clarke, son of Senna Clarke of the Rodriguez Family. A few years ago, Brandon Clarke lost his job at State Statistics Department allegedly due to reconstruction. He joined the military, now stationed at Harbor District. Brandon Clarke belongs to the higher end of the Middle Class, but politically he always votes The Workers Front. He attends religious services from time to time, not being the strongest believer. Last year Brandon and Stephania moved to a fine house in Cattle Road Residential Area, right next to their beloved Teatro De Tropico.

Mona grew up at Cepero Main Waterfront in the late 70’s and 80’s. She finished her exams at President Smirnov’s School in the early 90’s. Mona left her parents Nora and Jakub's home in 1995, to work at Saint Mary’s State Prison in the north part of Bounty City in. In 1997 she met German immigrant, 28 years old, Jan Hartman. They moved together, getting a rather expensive apartment in Monica Roux Residential Area in Presidente Jakub District. Mona Lewandowski is 22 years old, quite happy with her life. So far Mona has no children.  Politically she belongs to the right side, likely to vote either Humanity First or Nationalist Action. The government spend way too much tax money, helping immigrants or creating ridicules cultural events, while the resourceful entrepreneurs moving Bounty Islands forward, struggle with unnecessary paperwork, while the environmentalist become more and more powerful.

Susana D'Angelo, build a small port at what was formally known as South Bounty Island. Susana also built a tobacco plantation on the Island. Her bold move was respected amongst the politicians in the city, soon South Bounty Island was officially renamed to D'Angelo Island.

There is now just 18 months left, before the next elections. The latest opinion poll shows that the sitting government could survive. President Thomas Williams clearly leader of the largest party, but the current constellation with Christian Democrats, Workers Front and Right-Libertarians lead with less than 1%, so he might need to change the government in some way, maybe expand it so four parties?

Britta and Hugo Leroy, Nov. 1998

In the Late 70’s and early 80’s Hugo Leroy was supporting his wife Britta and son Finn, as a line dancer, while his wife was studying. During the 80’s she became a doctor at Bounty City Hospital and the family’s social status change significantly. Now their son Finn have moved out after his graduation from Bounty City University. 51 years old Britta is a respected doctor at the hospital in Harbor District. A faithful and respected member of The Order of Fen, attending every service she can at Alicja Chapel. 47 years old Hugo Leroy’s job at the circus became harder as he got older, today he got a job at The Embassy Grocery on Domicile Street, next to the Soviet Embassy. Politically Hugo is a relatively moderate right-wing, right now most likely to vote Humanity First. Because he dislikes the fact that The Right-Libertarians flirts with The Workers Front in the current government. Hugo is relative content with life in general. The family lives in a nice house, right next to The Council of the Districts, can’t find any better home, within a high middle class family’s budget.

Britta had lunch at Señor Vieira, now she will shop a little at St. Mart’s Grocery before heading home.

Valeria Sullivan, May 1999

Valeria left her mother and joined the hippies in the northern mountains in 1981, she became the leader of “Stoned Planks” sav mill in the late 80’s, living with the hippies at Plateau Village. Today Valeria is 36, still without and permanent partner and she still haven’t got any children. Spending her time with different lovers, if not working at the sav mill. Sharing a colonial style house with Sally Castro at the foot of the hill at Old Banana Road, leading up to Plateau Village. Politically Sally belongs to the left-wing, likely to vote Green Revolution at the coming election. The jungle fauna and flora should be preserved and we should help the poor, sick and homeless a lot more than we do now.

Finn Leroy, Dec. 1999

Finn grew up in a rather intellectual family, his father a circus artist his mother a doctor. He left his patents home in 1993 after his graduation from Bounty City University. Sadly, good jobs are rare and he can’t find a job to make use of a long education. For a while he was living with the hippies, later moving into a social home at the north plateau, living from small jobs but mostly being flat broke. Finn met 27 years old Anne in 1996 and moved into her modest apartment. As Finn is still unemployed, Anne has provided for him since they met, she is a bus driver on line E. Anne loves him very much, but she would like to see him take a job soon. 25 years old Finn Leroy got a fair mix of views on life, but he definitely does not like immigrants and believes in Bounty Island as a military power, hoping to see an independent and strong nation. Most likely to vote Nationalist Action at the upcoming elections. Besides the fact that he can’t find the right job, he is fairly content with his life. The family still lives at Anne’s apartment on Pasture Road in Saint Mary’s District close to the university. 

Finn was looking for a job at Woźniak Family’s Coal mine in Plateau Village, no luck today.

Deaths in 1999

In September armed police stormed Club Babilonia, attempting to arrest Roxy, having found Mr. Walsh dead body, digging in the area around Loyal to Familia Shipyard. It came to a shot-out and the entire family of Louise Roux was annihilated, besides the old lady who died four weeks earlier, and OneShot Beatriz, who was according to secret service records, probably meeting with mafia in Florida at the time. It is expected that Beatriz will lead Loyal to Familia in the future, although no one knows where she is at the moment.

The votes were counted:

Green Revolution with Arthur Morel get 16,6 % of the votes and 9 seats in parliament.

The Workers Front with Tommaso Leone get 17,3 % of the votes and 9 seats in parliament.

The Christian Democrats with Thomas Williams get 17,7% of the votes and 9 seats in parliament.

The Right-Libertarians with get Mónica Fernández 16,4% of the votes and 8 seats in parliament.

Humanity First with Lucía Gómez get 15,9% of the votes and 8 seats in parliament.

Nationalist Action with Sasha Krawczyk get 16,1% of the votes and 8 seats in parliament.

11,9% of the voters decided not to vote.

The sitting constellation with The Christian Democrats, The Workers Front and The Right-Libertarians get’s 51,3% of the votes, strengthen with 0,1% since the last election and continues unchanged. Thomas Williams (Christian Democrats) President. Tommaso Leone (Workers Front) Foreign Minister and Mónica Fernández (The Right-Libertarians) Defense Minister.

Very popular President Thomas Williams, is now 59 years old and starts his 3^rd period as leader of Bounty Islands, in office since 1980. If not spending his time in the official residence he got at the parliament building, he lives alone in a house at the intersection of The Donkey Curve, Maria Ruiz Road and South Harbor Road.

Heinrich and Alexandra Taka, June 2000 

Heinrich and Alexandra met in the late 70’s, bringing together a family of three children. After the death of their first partners. Living in New Village Residential Area, Cepero Town. Later they lost Alexandra’s daughter Dea. Soon Alexandra gave birth to their first mutual child Haruto. In the late 80’s Heinrich’s daughter Tami moved out. While Heinrich was still in the shellfish business, Alexandra was working at R. Johnsons Cotton Plantation. Today Alexandra’s son Carlos has also left the family to start his own. As the family was getting smaller, they left the large modern apartment at New Village Tower, moving to an older, smaller apartment at Ruben Ruiz Beach Road in the northern part of Cepero Town. 13 years old Haruto Taka still lives with the family, so far not getting any education. Alexandra Taka is 47, working as a coal miner with the Leone Family. Heinrich Taka is 57, still working with shellfish. He voted The Right-Libertarians at the latest elections, to protect the small entrepreneurs, but he respects many thoughts Green Revolution has. You got to protect the nature if you want the live from it. In general Heinrich is not too satisfied with the direction of the current government, although he did vote for one of the coalition parties.

November 2000 

Several plantations have now been built on, or relocated to D'Angelo Island. Department of Political Scienc are currently performing test drillings searching for Uranium at the island. The D'Angelo Island bridge was constructed. In the expansion process, new homes were needed. A new village spawned in Cepero Island’s side of the crossing. The village was named Miners Village after the three mines in the area. Schubert Holding’s nickel mine and Leone Family’s two coal mines. The Village is quite close to Lucia Village and the two are likely to unite into a town at some point in the future.

Deaths in 2000       

Lucas Sanz was the husband of Josefa Sanz until her death in 1973, Lucas later married Yulia Sanz with whom he lived until her death in 1992. In 1997 he married then 33 years old Jane, we can only guess what that was all about, definitely not his money, he was broke and lived in her apartment. She gave birth to a child in 1997, María Sanz, most of the family doubt Lucas was the farther, but he acted as if he was. Her “brother” Carlos Sanz and “sister” Nora Lewandowski adored the baby and accepted her as a sibling, she was 30-40 years younger than them. The mother Jane Sanz is also very likeable, which off course also helped a lot.

Alba and Finn Van de Berg, Jan 2001

With her death in 1990. Sole owner of Shubert Holding, Vera Schubert bequeathed her fortune,  including all Shubert Holding activates, to member of the board of directors Alba Van de Berg. With whom she had a romantic lesbian relationship. 51 years Alba Van de Berg lives with her 40 years old husband Finn Van de Berg, in a so-called open relationship. Even before the inheritance, Alba was wealthy. Being a member of the Council and holding important board positions. The major supplier of the family.

40 years old Finn is more the intellectual type, playing an important role at the cultural house as musician, artist and film director. The couple got two girls, 18 years old Valeria and 17 years old Susana. Both living at the family home, in the large apartment they rented from Sister Sullivan. The ground floor of Dr. Sofia Pellegrini mansion, at North Harbor Road. Valeria is currently in the military, flirting with a boy named Javier Sánchez, but so far, they haven’t found a home of their own. In contrast to what you might expect from the owner of a huge corporation, Alba believes we should attempt to protect the nature. In international affairs she belongs to the groups who wish for a strong Bounty, with a powerful military. All in all, she is very content with her life and the current direction of Bounty Islands.

Martina & Ibrahim Ahmed, July 2001

In the late 60’s Sister Birgitta daughter Martina married Palestinian immigrant Ibrahim Ahmed. They moved to an apartment at “New Village” in the late 70’s, with their three children, Majed, Mikail and Yasmin. Today they have all started their own families. Giving their proud parents grandchildren. Majed, 12 years old Gafur. Mikail, 10 years old Kaamran, and lately their daughter Yasmin got two children, two years old Labiba and newly born Vajid.

Today 56 years old Martina Ahmed works at Leone Family Sugar Plantation at Sugar Square in the City. 57 years old Ibrahim Ahmed is a bus driver at line A from the circus to Cepero Main. The family still lives in the small apartment at Plateau Village. Martina Ahmed belongs to the extreme right. She dislikes all lefties, especially the eco movement. The society would be much better without all the regulation and governmental institutions. In general, she is not pleased with her living conditions and the current government.

62 years old Uwe Schneider, currently head of State Statistics Department was asked to do an investigation into the general health on Bounty Islands. The conclusion was that bad healthcare killed 2.2% of the population each year, where as the natural death rate was just 1.9%. It was soon clear at especially people living in and around Lucia Village on Cepero Islands was more exposed to respiratory diseases, from asthma to lung cancer, than people in other areas of Bounty Islands. Cepero Town authorities forced M. Leroy Firearms JV to be replaced further south. The company lost a lot of valuable stock in the process, without compensation from public funds.

Tami Taka, Feb. 2002

Today 35 years old Tami Taka grew of in Lucia Village, living with her mother Montserrat and farther Heinrich, it was a hard time for her losing a brother and finally her mother in 1977, the years after another two siblings passed away. Tami, still just a teenager, had lost a lot of close relatives. Her farther remarried and the family moved north to “New Village” in Cepero Town. Tami left the family after the death of her step sister in 1986, spending two years on the streets as an alcoholic. 1988 she met Tommaso Barone, moved in with him and got a job as truck driver. Tommaso Barone decided to leave Bounty Islands to try his luck elsewhere. Today she is living alone in a small but modern apartment at Plateau Tower , Plateau Village. Working at Bay Cheese goat ranch on the plateau. Having a on/off relationship with unemployed Russian emigrant, 50 years old, Dmitry Kamiński. Dmitry and his son Adrian often spend the night with her, moving on the next morning, to beg in the tourist areas or take one-day jobs.     

Tami Taka belongs to the Catholic Church spending a lot of time in Saint Mary's Church or even Catedral de Sainte Thérèse if she got the time to travel that far. She voted The Christian Democrats at the latest election, but also supports the eco-movement. She is relatively contend with her life, but worries about crime and all the homeless people, afraid to go out after dark.

Yelena Johnson, Aug. 2002

The dead body of José Johnson, who was mysteriously kidnaped in 1993 was finally found in the jungle not far from Sullivan Oil’s two pumping stations in June. Now 51 years old Yelena Johnson, have as mentioned led the company since her husband disappeared, recently expanding the activities with the new textile factory “R. Johnson SunWear” near Mountain Village. Yelena met José Johnson in the beginning of the 70’s, they married in 1972. Their firstborn child Carla died in 1974, but they got another two children in the late 70’s, and finally daughter Moria in 1984, after whom R. Johnson’s residential tower is named. Today Yelena lives with a new lover 34 years old Jon Pérez. After the kidnapping of her husband Yelena found comfort in her religion, a loyal follower of both Catholic services and The Order of Fen. Politically she swings between Christian Democrat or Right-Libertarian, although she also believes in saving the environment as much as possible. Yelena is very satisfied with her life and the development of Bounty Islands.

Yelena have bought a house at Cattle Road, very modest for a woman of her status.

The colonization of D'Angelo Island has resulted in a lot of extra motorboat traffic at Bounty Inland Sea, threatening the natural habitat at the Caribbean Reef Shark. The environmentalists are furious.

 

The government construction of D'Angelo Powerplant finished. At present the new plant is hiring employees, while awaiting the first coal deliveries. Oil powered turbines will be installed in the near future. As activities on D'Angelo Islands increased, what was formally just a few buildings have expanded into the new D'Angelo Village. A busline connect the Village to Cepero Town

Sister Sullivan, Jan 2003

One of Bounty Islands most known and respected citizens Sister Sullivan, died 27th of January 2003, 68 years old. Sister Sullivan was elected new leader of the “Ordre of Fen” in 1975 after the death of Sister Birgitta in 1974. She was a member of the Council of the Districts since its formation in 1978. In 1988 she created her oil company Sullivan Oil, pumping oil up from the underground in in the southern jungle. In 1997 expanding with another oil well at the South Plains.

Sister Sullivan will leave behind three children, 44 years old Dolores, 40 years old Lucas and 39 years old Valeria. Four grandchildren, Dolores 16 years old son Ronnie and Lucas three children, 17 years old Myrthe, 12 years old Aitana and 9 years old Cristobal. As there was evil blood between Sister Sullivan and her daughter Valeria, the oil company will be run by Dolores and Lucas. Valeria will receive a nice yearly sum, but won’t have part in the oil company. 

In Council of the Districts she will be replaced by Thomas Harris, representing small enterprise. Current leader of Sergio Worship Chloé Zaytsev, will lead the Order (**)

Majed Ahmed Family, Mar.2003

Now 33 years old Majed Ahmed, son of Ibrahim and Martina Ahmad, grew up in “New Village”, Cepero Town during the 70’s. He is the grandchild of Sister Birgitta, the leader of the Order of Fen until her death in 1974. Majed met his wife Jeanne in the late 1980’s and the got a son Gafur. The family lives very close to where Majed was raised, in a small apartment at the top of 3 stories building at “New Village”. Majed left the coffee plantation, and got a fishing boat at Cepero Harbor. Jeanne left Bounty Bay Tobacco Plantation, to work at Tobacco Workers Union’s plantation, just across the street from their home. 14 years old Gafur studies at President Williams School.

Majed Ahmed voted Humanity First, a firm believer in the right to explore and take advantage of what the earth has to offer. He just can’t stand all the eco nonsense. He belongs to the right-wing with a nationalistic mindset, but see himself as a working-class man. Majed is satisfied with life, complaining mainly as a habit. Hardly able to see him end up in the jungle as a rebel.

Carlos Taka, Sep. 2003

Carlos Taka grew up in “New Village”, Cepero Town. Living with his mother Alexandra and step father Heinrich, who adopted him when they married. Carlos did not get any education and left his family in 1995, moving to the city, to work at the new cinema. Where he also met his girlfriend Svetlana, a Russian Immigrant. Today they are both 29 years old and both still working at Cine De Loro. They have no children, living in a small older apartment at the coveted Cattle Road Residential Area. Carlos Taka voted Workers Front at last election, belong to the more militaristic/nationalistic part of the outer left, in opposition to the eco-movement, they want a socialistic society, with a strong worker-controlled industry. Despite opinions many might find extreme, Carlos is actually quite content with the life, he and Svetlana lives.

From their window in the apartment at 1st floor of the purple building, Carlos and Svetlana can see the movie theater, where they both work.

Carina Moretti Apr. 2004

Carina Moretti, born Johnson, is 4^th generation after Robert Johnson, the original founder of R. Johnson WorkWear and the daughter of Yelena and José Johnson. She spent her childhood in the 80’s living in New Village, Cepero Islands. When she was just 15 years old her farther was kidnapped and disappeared mysteriously, to be found dead in the jungle 9 years later. Carina got pregnant at the age of 17, she gave birth to a son Alejandro Johnson, while still living with her mother. It was a “mistake” and the farther was immediately gone, everyone around her pleased with his disappearance. She did actually love him, but he had another woman. Yelena advised her daughter to forget him as fast as possible. When then 22 years old Carina met 32 years old Italian Gabriele Moretti, she got pregnant again and they married. The entire family lives with Carina’s mother Yelena, as they still can’t afford a home of their own, both having only small day to day jobs. Yelena could off course find a position for them in the company and buy them a house, but that has never been the mindset in the Johnson family. She prefers to have them under control in her own home, as long as they are not able to provide for themselves. Today Carina is 25, Gabriele 35, Alejandro 7 and little Cristina Moretti 2 years old. Alejandro attend school at President Williams. 

Not surprisingly Carina Moretti votes The Right-Libertarians, well aware what her future will bring. She belongs to the more conservative and nationalistic part of the party, but oppose to most in her group she is also interested in environmental issues. Carina is a cheerful girl, all in all content with her life, despite the hardship she had to face.

Lucas Sullivan Family, Oct.2004 

Lucas Sullivan is the son of sister Sullivan, leader of The Ordre of Fen until her death in 2003. Lucas grew up in Alicja Chapel, receiving a strict Cristian upbringing from his mother. He left his mother’s home in 1980 to live alone in Lucia Village. He married Shana in the 80’s and the got three children. The family got an apartment in Lucia village and later moved into South Jungle Tower. As his mother died in 2003 Lucas Sullivan is now co-owner of Sullivan Oil. He is not too interested in running the company, leaving most of the decisions to his sister Dolores. Instead, he has bought “The Waterfront Bar and Tapas”, a job he loves. Chatting with consumer, getting a bit drunk himself, enjoying the sun and the beach. Shana holds a leading position at Schubert Holdings Nickel Mine, a job she decided to keep, even if she does not have to work. The family have bought an old three-story apartment building at Cepero Main Waterfront, turning it into a large one family home. Today both Lucas and Shana are 42 years old. 15 years old Aitana attends school at President Williams, 12 years old Cristobal struggled in primary school, and haven’t been able to attend secondary level schooling yet. Their oldest daughter Myrthe moved out this spring after continuing her education at President Williams, she haven’t found a good job yet, currently taking substitute jobs as bus driver, taxi driver and the like.

Lucas Sullivan is not interested in politics and did not vote at the latest election. Generally pleased with his live, although he tends to be bored and could use more entertainment. Myrthe belongs to the extreme left, in complete opposition to the family’s exploitation of earths natural resources.
