    January 2005

A new political party has gained enough support to be part of the next election. You might say splitting the right side of the parliament further. Most analyst see “The Bounty Conservative” as a middle to right party. As their program is not as focused on increased production and economy and thereby helping the already rich getting richer, as parties like the The Right-Libertarians and Humanity First. Their message is more focused on keeping tradition alive, avoid change and thereby progression, honoring what we already got, as oppose to getting the new and fancy. That said they also love military and security, but despite all sort of international influence and globalization, in that respect closer to the extreme right we know from Nationalist Action, than other mid parties like The Christian Democrats or The Right-Libertarians.

The founder of “The Bounty Conservative” is Álvaro Díaz, a former plantation worker from Spain, currently based on D'Angelo Island.

Four years old Vajid Al Najjar son of Yasmin Al Najjar, died from pneumonia. The patents did not have insurance and could hardly afford a visit to the hospital, they waited until it was too late. Vajid was the great-grandson of Sister Birgitta.

It has become a tradition amongst Muslims at Bounty Island, to bury their dead in the jungle that surrounds The Gaia Monument.

Labiba Al Najjar sometimes comes to visit her younger brother’s grave.

    Carlos Sanz Family, Sep.2005

Carlos Sanz, the son of Josefa and Lucas Sanz, grew up at Cepero Main Waterfront in the late 50’s and early 60’s. He married Verónica in 1975. They got two children, but their first born died in 1986. The family first lived in an apartment at The Donkey Curve, in the early 90’s moving to a house at Cattle Road Residential Area. In 2002 their son Jimmy left the family, today living alone in a simple apartment at Plateau Village, despite the fact that he is educated from President Smirnov’s School he is currently working at the Llama Ranch. Due to great prices at the housing market, the family decided to sell the expensive house, and buy a slightly cheaper one, in the area next to Bounty City University, spending the profit on three weeks in Las Vegas. 48 years old Verónica is still connected to the Cultural House. Teaching art history, setting up expeditions and from time to time selling some of her own paintings. She is far from the best painters on Bounty Islands, but she is not bad either. Carlos quit the army, now a rescue worker at Cattle Road Rescue center. Carlos is very satisfied with life, a merry soul that never complains. His views are center to right-wing, but he does not care much for politics and has hardly ever voted.

Carlos and his team, took a call about a fire at Bounty Cigar's Limited Tobacco Plantation.

The leader of Workers Front, defense minister from 1976 to 1990 and foreign minister from 1990 to his death, 72 years old Tommaso Leone passed away. He will be replaced by former Truck driver Juan Navarro. Juan is 39 years old and married to 57 years old Giulia. They got no children.

Bounty Islands was hit by a tropical hurricane. The center of the storm only made landfall in the western almost uninhabited islands, but the high wind speeds, extreme rain, thunder and lightning, was bad enough. Many homes and industries were without power due to a fire at Cepero Power. One person was lost in the fires, another 7 drowned.

    Javier Weber Family, Feb.2006

Javier Weber spent most of his childhood living in a large apartment at North Harbor Road next to Saint Mary’s Church. With his mother Norma and step father Adrián Ciccone. He can’t remember his biological farther who died when he was just three years old. In the early 80’s Javier met Alba, leaving his parent to live in her apartment at Plateau Village. They got their only child Helena in 1991. Alba started to work at City Truck’s depot at Harbor District in the early 90’s. With her help Javier joined the depot, leaving Leone Family’s Cocoa Plantation, where he had worked since he was 18 years old. Nearly doubling his salary. The family lives at the lower floor in a rather new house from the 90’s, located at the expensive Cattle Road Residential Area. Sharing the house with the much wealthier Brouwer family, both working at bounty bank. The daughter Helena haven’t been able to get any education, at least not yet. Javier belongs to the right-wing, but he is not especially devoted to any of the existing parties. Last time he voted “Humanity First”, although he do not agree with everything they say. Javier is quite happy with his life. Mainly concerned with the fact that his daughter hasn’t been able to get an education and security issues like criminals, fires and traffic accidents.

The new trend is that many modern Bounty citizens, got a boat to travel between harbors. Javier often take the boat home from work and back.

46 years old Lucía Gómez, leader of opposition party Humanity First died in a traffic accident. She was replaced by Martina Smirnov.

After several situations where M. Leroy Firearms has not been able to fulfill the demand from customers, due to a lack of resources, especially Nickel. Schubert Holdings was willing to sell their mine to M. Leroy JV, to make them able to take control of their own supply situation. Schubert Holdings co-own M. Leroy’s so not a huge loss for them, under any circumstances. M. Leroy JV immediately invested in the mine, updating the production facilities and staff. After a short period, the mine was able to more than triple the monthly nickel production.

    M. Leroy Joint Ventures modernized nickel mine.

    Dolores Sullivan Family, Jan.2007

Dolores Sullivan grew up in Fenna Chapel in the 60’s and 70’s, with her mother Sister Sullivan, little brother Lucas and little sister Valeria. She moved out to live with Alexandre Martin and gave birth to their first child Ronnie in the late 80’s, moving into an apartment in Lucia Village. Another two children followed but both died at a very young age. Dolores Sullivan blames the pollution from M. Leroy Firearms, but she can never be sure, the factory was moved without any investigation into the many deaths in Lucia Village.

With the death of her mother in 2003, Dolores Sullivan is now chairman of Sullivan Oil. The family moved the short distance from the cheap apartment in the center of the village, into a modern house next to Schubert Cigars Tobacco Plantation, getting the nice fresh breeze from Cepero Mountains. Sadly, Alexandre Martin died in the summer 65 years old. Ronnie Sullivan finished his education from President Williams and now leads the operation of the Oil Pumps in the eastern part of the jungle, just 19 years old. He has got a girlfriend Cristina and they both lives in his mother’s large home. Dolores Sullivan belongs to the moderate right-wing, she voted The Right-Libertarians in the latest election. She believes in God, and likes to visit Cathedral de Sainte Thérèse every Sunday.

    Yasmin Al Najjar Jul.2007

Yasmin Al Najjar daughter of Martina Ahmed, grew up in “New Village”, Cepero Town in the 70’s and early 80’s with her parents and two older brothers. Later her family moved to a smaller apartment at Plateau Village, where she spent her teenage years. Yasmin married Naasir Al Najjar in 1996 moving into an old worn-out apartment at Cepero Main Waterfront, constructed back in the 1930’s. Where the family still lives. Those homes were once desired by most working-class people, today they are defaulted and ruined by the hot moist breeze from the sea, with moldy walls, cracks and leaks. Yasmin gave birth to their daughter Labiba in 1999. Their son Vajid was born in 2001 but died from pneumonia in June 2005. Today 34 years old Yasmin works at Schubert’s Tobacco Plantation at Smirnov Road in the outskirts of Lucia Village. 35 years old Naasir, is a bus driver at line B from Moria Tower to Dr. Pellegrin Mansion. Labiba is a clever girl and got a scholarship for President Smirnov’s School.

Politically Yasmin Al Najjar belongs to the extreme left. She voted Green Revolution at the latest election. She believes in uprising, the impoverished should demand their fair share of the cake. Despite that, she is a quite joyful, loving and entertaining personality.

    October 2007

A new party has collected enough followers to be part of the upcoming elections. “Alternative Living” is a center to left party, appealing to the well-educated, humanitarians, trying very hard to be special and different, ending up as a quite uniform group. They love everything new and modern, even retro - old style modern. Most are atheist and globalists with a love of cultural diversity, in generally peace-loving people with an expensive taste. Their leader and founder are former subordinate manager at Schubert Cigars, 53 years old Martina Smirnov. Descendant of former president Jeanne Smirnov (1950-1960), who died in 1964.

With 8 political parties, The Parliament decided to extend the number of seats from 51 to 73

    Nora Lewandowski Family, Dec.2007

Nora Lewandowski, daughter of Josefa Sanz, married Jakub Lewandowski in the early 70’s. They got daughter Mona, living at Cepero Main Waterfront. Another daughter Dorthea came in the early 80’s. Family moved into Moria Tower a few years later. Mona moved out more than 10 years ago, Dorthea finished school and moved out around the turn of the millennium. Nora left R. Johnson Cotton Plantation, afraid her bad health was caused by the plants. Hard to say, but it did help. She now works at Tobacco Workers Union Plantation at the heart of Cepero Town. Jakub has worked at South Industrial Harbor since 1983. Despite the fact that they are both uneducated, their economy is fine, living in a nice apartment overlooking Cepero Harbor and The Inland Sea. Nora’s views haven’t changed, she is still a convinced right-winger and attending the Baptist Church services as often as possible.

Nora's health is much better, but she still have to go to controls at Cepero Clinic every third month.

A new young student from Bounty City University, Pablo Romero, joined the team at the Department of Political Science in 2001. Being an expert in microbiology and genetic engineering, he started to experiment with manipulated super plants, in a closed artificial environment. After 2006 his results were excellent. The department asked the parliament for funding, making them able to upscale to a commercial economical level. Department of Political Science got the funding and bought Original Bounty Rum’s Sugar Plantation in Mountain Village. Today 36 years old Pablo Romero is the manager of the governmental greenhouses at Mountain Road.

    February 2010

The leader of The Right-Libertarians 64 years old Mónica Fernández remarried in 2009 and is now named Mónica Clarke.

     The Votes are in:

Green Revolution with Arthur Morel get 12,50% of the votes and 9 seats in parliament.

The Workers Front with Juan Navarro get 13,22% of the votes and 10 seats in parliament.

Alternative Living with Martina Smirnov get 13,06% of the votes and 9 seats in parliament.

The Christian Democrats with Sergio García get 13,14% of the votes and 10 seats in parliament.

The Bounty Conservative with Álvaro Díaz gets 11,54% of the votes and 8 seats in parliament.

The Right-Libertarians with Mónica Clarke get 12,34% of the votes and 9 seats in parliament.

Humanity First with Lucía Gómez get 12,10% of the votes and 9 seats in parliament.

Nationalist Action with Sasha Krawczyk get 12,10% of the votes and 9 seats in parliament.

10,9% of the voters decided not to vote.

As leader of the largest party (The Workers Front) Juan Navarro was invited to open negations to form a new government. It was soon clear that he could obtain a majority with the 2nd largest party Christian Democrats, Alternative Living and Green Revolution. But The Workers Front and The Christian Democrats would like to invite someone from the right side into the government to balance the clear step in a left direction. The Right-Libertarians was the obvious choice as they were in the previous government and used to work with the two larger parties. A new broad government was formed.

Juan Navarro (The Workers Front) President. Sergio García (Christian Democrats) Foreign Minister, Martina Smirnov (Alternative Living) defense minister.

Two temporally ministries was created, at least for this election period. Arthur Morel from Green Revolution got the Environment and Nature Ministry. Mónica Clarke (Right-Libertarians) got the Traffic and Logistics Ministry, moving into the Department of Trade and Logistics House, which was now included in the ministry.

In the presidential speech it was clear that things would change. Industries would be forced to decrease power consumption and reduce pollution significantly. In the near future the government would focus on initiatives that would benefit the large majority, especially housing and some sort of minimum wage. But he also stressed that introduction of same-sex marriage was not in the pipeline and unlikely in this election period. He did not say, but this was clearly a demand from The Christian Democrats, if they were to support his presidency. He also declared that even if the previous government approved the construction of a Nuclear Power Plant, he would personally work for, risk free and eco-friendly power, to replace coal oil and nuclear, as soon as it was possible, without risking the welfare of Bounty Islands. Last but not least, we will invest in security to get rid of the increasing fear of local gangs.

The murder of Factory Worker Jack O’Neill in bright daylight, filmed by CRR Complex security camera, was a late news bomb in the election.

Taking over a large part of the debate in the last days before the voting.

    Valeria Sullivan, Apr.2010

Valeria Sullivan, daughter of sister Sullivan, grew up in Fenna Chapel, with her mother, her older sister Dolores and older brother Lucas. Coming of age, she refused to go to church, leaving her mother when she was 19, joining the hippies in north district. She soon became the leader of “Stoned Planks Saw Mill”. She moved from the hippie camp to a colonial style farm house at Old Banana Road in the mid 1990’s, still working at the saw mill. In 2009 it became clear that the government was about to construct a Nuclear Power Plant in the North District. Valeria left the area where she had been living and working her entire adult life. Moving to D'Angelo Island. She is now 46 years old, living in a modest apartment in D'Angelo village, working as a truck driver at nearby D'Angelo Freight. About 15 years ago she declared to be lesbian, currently dating Myrthe De Groot, a 37 years old waitress at Pub D'Angelo. Valeria Sullivan still belongs to the left-wing, quite satisfied with the change in government.

Facts and figures, June 2010, Part 1-A. Map Mountain Village

Mountain Village and its surrounding area have seen some changes over the latest 15 years. Latest and most notably the government owned Bounty Nuclear Plant. In 2008 another public project, The Experimental Agricultural Institute was located where Original Bounty previously had a sugar plantation. Back in 2001 R. Johnson Holdings opened their 2nd textile factory, R. Johnson SunWear, supported by two Llama Ranches to supply high-quality wool, to the production processes. There has been residential development, but very little. Right now, Bonner Construction is working on a new high-quality house.

Facts and figures, June 2010, Part 1-B. Map Plateau Village

In Plateau Village, not that much has changed. The new North Truck Service have bought the depot from City Truck. Maria Gold has expanded the mining operation. The Torres family has established a goat ranch and the construction of a uranium mine had begun. In the center of the village a few modern apartment buildings and a small park was added to the residential area. The village currently runs three government funded social apartment buildings.
