    Leroy Family May 1959

Political Scientist Arthur M. Leroy who back in 1946 invented a better planting method, revolutionizing agriculture on the Bounty Islands. Is now puzzling with an idea that Bounty Islands may contain reserves of iron, large enough to produce steel and from those weapons, to supply the growing demand of hand and machine guns, locally as well as on the unstable South American continent. Personally 54 years old Arthur M. Leroy have reached the 3rd part of live, where his son has left home and it is just him and his wife Chiara Leroy.

    98HRf4s.jpg

Chiara also 54 years old, formerly a criminal investigator, was gunned down in a shooting with drug dealers, never recovering fully. Today she has retired from the police, running her own Cotton Plantation right outside Old Cepero Village.

    gZVv724.jpg

Their son Noddy Leroy (28), is now married to Cristina (26), who has given him two children Hugo (8) and Jon (2). Noddy works with Tobacco, Christina is a police officer. The family lives in a reasonable apartment next to Fenna Chapel.

Federico Brissi & Nerea Nov. 1959

Although he is part of one of the families we follow, we have not heard much from Federico Brissi, son of Lorenzo Brissi. We know his mother died when he was born in the early 30’s and we know he liked to play on the beach as a boy, when his farther and stepmother Jane, had an apartment on Cepero Main Waterfront in the late 30’s. But where is he today?

Federico Brissi (28) was not found of his stepmom, and slowly lost contact with most of his family. He met Nerea (27) in his late teens, they are still together. None of them has any education and they usually make a living from work at farms or ranches on Cepero Island. At the moment she is connected to the Goat Ranch in Old Cepero Village as a manure spreader, he works on a banana farm further south. They rent a small apartment in the village.

    Election Feb. 1960

One of the most powerful people on Bounty Islands Jakub Piotrowski died 56 years old in December 1959. Jakub Piotrowski was the first president of the republic, sitting two terms from 1930 to 1950, after which he was Foreign Minister to his death. Juan Pérez was elected new leader of The Christian Democrats and by that also Foreign Minister.

    The Votes are in:

The Workers Front with Jeanne Smirnov get 25.1% and 9 seats in parliament.

The Christian Democrats with Juan Pérez get 25.8% and 10 seats in parliament.

The Right-Libertarians with Rubén Álvarez get 24.2% and 9 seats in parliament.

Nationalist Action with Marije Bonnet get 24,9% and 9 seats in parliament.

The Christian Democrats chose to create a large government over the middle. With Juan Pérez as President, Jeanne Smirnov (Workers Front) as Foreign Minister and Rubén Álvarez (Right-Libertarians) get the new Defense Ministry, created for the first time.

    Sister Birgitt & Martina, Apr.1960

Last time we heard from Sister Birgitta then 30 years old, she was just elected new leader of the order, living with her two children in “Sergio Worship” on Cepero Island. As mentioned, her son Mariano died in 1949. Her daughter Martina is now 16 years old. Sister Birgitta still runs the Ordre from the “Worship” on Cepero Island, but the family has now moved into a nearby house at the corner of Village Road and Jungle Road. She has appointed 35 years old Italian nun Sister Vincenza as leader of Alicja Chapel and 30 years old Spanish nun Sister Nora as leader of Fenna Chapel.  yJA9xss.jpg

    Heinrich Taka, Oct.1960

Having some knowledge of shellfish farming from his years in Japan, the young boy started experimenting in Bounty waters. Growing Calico Scallop (latin:Argopecten gibbusat) at the inland sea and Bay Scallop (Latin:Argopecten irradians) in Bounty Bay. Now 18 years old he is already harvesting enough to survive. Aurora Brissi , Apr.1961

Through Foreign Minister Jeanne Smirnov. The request from scientist Arthur M. Leroy, to investigate the possibility that Bounty Islands might contain Iron Ore, came to SBM1 agent Aurora Brissi in late August 1959. Aurora traveled into the East Bounty Jungle visiting the two native tribes living there. Asking about the origin of the ancient iron weapons used in tribal rituals. Most of the myths told, that the iron came from the area, where the mountain village is now. Test borings were carried out in the beginning of 1960. The Iron Mine was operational from April 1961.

Aurora Brissi daughter of Lorenzo Brissi is now 33 years old, still living with her lover Stefano Fiore in the large apartment next to the former presidential “Purple Villa” at Cattle Road. Stefano is now 45 years old, working as technical engineer at Cepero Coal Plant.

    Mafalda & Andreas Wolf, Oct.1961

Since, 34 years old Mafalda Wolf, daughter of Lorenzo Brissi, lost her third and last child in 1955, she has become very introvert. Spending almost all her time praying in Saint Mary’s Church, when she is not singing at the church services. Her husband 37 years old Andreas Wolf, find comfort being around other local intellectuals, painting, sculpturing and making music, as a part of the permanent staff at the cultural house.

Juan & Janis Gómez, Mar. 1962

Juan Gómez, grandson of Carmen Rodrigues and foster child of revolution hero Mónica Roux is now 60 years old. We last heard from Juan back in 1950, when he was working as a truck driver at Cepero Shipment, a few months later he lost his wife Elizabeth. Juan found new love in co-worker Janis (61), and they married. Sadly, Juan lost his driver license after hitting a homeless man on Cepero Main, losing his job and as a consequence also their home. He takes small jobs at the plantations and Janis still drives her truck, but the housing market is under pressure and they still haven’t found a new home. Spending the nights in the jungle under whatever shelter they can get, while looking for materials to build their own shack, if they can’t find a prober home soon.

The 2nd part of Arthur M. Leroy plan was fulfilled, when a joint venture of Department of Political Science, The State Ministry, The Schubert Family and R. Johnson Holdings created M. Leroy JV, named after its initiator. Soon the company constructed a steel mill, first step in the process towards Bounty Islands weapon production. The steel plant, located in Cepero East Jungle at the foot of Cepero Island Mountains, was met with harsh protests from the native tribes living in the area.

Greta Navarro, Adrián and Ciccone, Feb.1963

Adrián Ciccone son of Greta Navarro, the widow of Sergio Navarro, lost his wife Margit in 1961. Greta Navarro aged 62, did not come to the funeral. The fact that she replaced her lover Peter Schäfer, with just 28 years old Harry Wilson, was impossible to swallow for the family. Not to mention that she has lost the family fortune now living with Wilson in a Shack.

    5fULLbu.jpg

After the death of his first wife, Adrián Ciccone found comfort in widowed 32 years old Norma. Mother of 3 young children. Javier, Álvaro, and Susana. With Adrián’s son Anton, the family of 6 rented the large top floor in the red building at North Harbor Road right next to Saint Mary’s Church, taking up quite a large part of their budget.

    Jane Brissi, Jun.1964

Besides the fact that Lorenzo Brissi died in 1958, we last heard from his wife Jane Brissi back in 1951, when they were both living in a beautiful villa at Jungle Road in Cepero Town, right next to the Jungle Nature Reserve. Today the 49 years old widow has lost most of her fortune, living with the 27 years old Russian Szymon Bukowski in a small apartment at Long Connecter Road in Saint Mary’s District working as a police officer. Szymon picks tobacco at the farm near Bounty Bay. Some woman envies her choices, others disrespect her.

Tragically, Noddy Leroy got a tumor in the brain and passed away after a few months. Leaving behind his wife, 32 years old Christina and his three children Hugo (13), Jon (7) and Ángel (3). Although the budget is tight the family still lives in the same apartment, close to Fenna Chapel. Noddy Leroy was the son of Political Scientist Arthur M. Leroy. His parents were of course also devastated by his sudden illness and death.

    Senna & David Clarke Dec.1965

Back in 1957, Juan Gómez’s daughter Senna Clarke and her husband David was living with two children at Cepero Main Waterfront, doing very well. Today Senna still works at Schubert’s Processing. David a foreman at a pineapple plantation. Their youngest son 18 years old Amir, still lives with his parents. Their older son Brandon have moved out to start on his own. The family have bought the upper floor of a beautiful red house in Old Cepero Village, just able to spot The Inland Sea from the bedroom window, having the Jungle Natural Reserve at the opposite site. Just such a shame, those poor bastards set up their rubbish this close.

    Federico Brissi and Nerea Mar.1969

Federico Brissi, son of Lorenzo Brissi is now 38 years old. We met Federico and his lover Nerea 10 years ago, when they both lived a simple life at the countryside of what was then a very rural South District. Today they live a slightly more civilized and structured life in Cepero Town. They got a small but fine apartment at Cepero Village Road. He works at The Waterfront Bar and Tapas, she has a boat in Cepero Harbor. They never got any children.
