How to plan streets, roads, avenues and etc in SC4?

I've been playing SimCity 4 since 2015 and, since then, I've always had doubts regarding the planning of traffic systems - in this case, how to make functional and beautiful projects for streets, roads, avenues and highways - and I would have liked to know how to proceed with this question

Ah, Strictoaster, my favorite SimCity 4 and the only SC4 creator that I know that reaches 100K subs and therefore have the sweet checkmark beside the name.

The question is how to build 'functional and beautiful projects for streets. roads, avenues and highways'?

This would probably be the result of your own creativity.  There is plenty of content to sift through for inspiration, and a very helpful community should you stumble upon any road blocks (pun intended) along the way.
