Need help with Region Census

So i downloaded and it worked and i can view regions but i cannot view the regions I have created and downloaded. Would be great to know how to do that and maybe some other help with the app would be good.

The region census only shows the regions and city tiles that have already been rendered by the game, you need to open them in game and save each city tile first.

But i made a region ingame why is that not there I handmade this region or do i need to go to each city tile create a city and leave?

Is this a rather large region? I've found I needed to apply the 4 GB Patch to RegionCensus.exe in order for it to handle larger regions. And no, as long as your region looks right in the region screen of the game then those thumbnails are ok in each city tile and so you would not need to go into each one to create a city.

So i made a test region ingame and exited the game and booted up region census and i coulnt see it. Im not sure its the problem with region size. Also my other regions are 8x8 large regions, its not that big or is it? One thing as i open the place where i can choose regions there are the default ones and one called 'downloaded' which i cant open because it is not even a region.

Edit so i did find a way to see those regions. So it's okay.

Would you mind letting us know what the trouble was and how you solved it? That could be helpful for anyone else who runs into the same problem. (And no, an 8 x 8 region of all large city tiles should not be too much for the Region Census to display even without being 4 GB Patched.)

Well at first i changed preferences, I thought this may help but did not. I did this multiple times multiple ways but it didnt work. So  then i discovered in :>File>Open region> and scrolled up to documents>Simcity4>... . That's how i got it working. (Some way like this i got it working, that i scrolled in >Open region>.)
