Hi all, thought an update would be in order. I've done

This kind of gantry is called "horse" or häst in Swedish.

    hast.png.7f9aaa37f10864d201942339617aab6c.png

I've also done a railworkerhut based on the 1872 model. Originally they were used for maintenance personnel for work along the line. Nowadays they are either demolished or used as homes or recreational homes.

    Anyway, hope you enjoy!

    Sharing is indeed caring.
On the houses, how do they look scaled with the standard in-game stuff?
Have you tested them yet in SC4, or tried the old trick of cut-and-pasting screencaps of them from the 3D program over in-game screenshots beforehand?

GOOD TEXTURES ARE MADE, NOT FOUND.
(I get tired of saying that in BAT threads.)

With a break from the Railway project, i've undertaken a project of replacing the maxis residentals and commercial. I've made several buildings for the purpose but i reacon they are mid wealth, now for low wealth, i've tried to make a chariot workshop and a work yard.

The thing is that early commerce in Sweden was mostly mid wealth due to the way society was constructed. Maby that is the reason that i should block all comerce in low wealth in the Euro tileset?

Anyway heres some lots i've made that are low wealth.

About diagonals, is this a feasible solution in regards to diagnal platforms?61be38daee773_ljusatest.jpg.972cf07be2f383598cbdd6566c1c2add.jpg

I didn't exactly get the point of your question, but for me, it looks good so far, and I'd like to congratulate you for your work. The diagonals are especially appreciated, they look good, adding some variety to the game, and there are only a few diagonal stations.

My only suggestions, if I'm allowed to:

I thinnk the platform for the diagonal station should be longer. In RL, trains do usually have a considerable length, I think a platform should at least have a length of 100-200 m.

You might want to consider making an extra overhanging prop for a platform on the opposite side of the tracks. Most railway stations in my country have 2 platforms and more, unless they are along a STR route.

    The reason for the short platforms are that these stations are small stations in RL, heres an example;

Sure i could make them slightly longer though.

Edit: the thing is with that post is that i'll make the platforms modular, so you can make them how ölong you want.

Inspired by all the nice comments about my hospital i decided to as a tribute to JBsimo expand on his amazing project, the university of clayhurst.

This is JBsimo academy of natural science as it is now.

I've been jonesing for more Clayhurst from the beginning. I can't wait to see what the new buildings look like. Something that would be incredibly helpful would be more path/driveway options (diagonals and wide curves in particular). I'm currently building out a massive university with both Clayhurst packs, and have been making notes on what I think is missing, if that's something you'd be interested in.
