[Solved] Currently having game problems

EDIT: I clicked on the question mark bar on the city interface and the problem was solved. Sorry for confusions caused.

I've just installed SC4 on GOG and opened it first after installing NAM (which I have since uninstalled after suspecting the problem below), and inadvertently patching the game when it was already at 1.1.641.0. This seems to have cause the cursor to become inoperable when attempting to click the buildings in my city or anywhere in the game outside the user interface. It just shows as a wheel. How do I fix this?

Note: I am running Windows 10 on a Core i5 with 16GB RAM.
