I'm sorry but it's not entirely clear what you are having problems with. Do you mean that the highway menu does not contain the correct items? Or something to do with trying to draw such networks?

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

Sounds to me like it's a problem with an icon of some sort. As a test, can you temporarily remove the Network Addon Mod and z___NAM folders out of Plugins, to somewhere they won't load when starting SC4. Then run the game, but use a blank city for test purposes, can you scroll properly through the highway menu now. Of course any NAM additions will be gone, but we're just checking here if the problem exists in your NAM install or other 3rd party plugins.

If the menu's during this test work just fine, it strikes me you must be missing the icons for the NAM alterations/additions for highway. If they still show problems, then you have some custom plugin that has either a missing or faulty (corrupted) icon.

Having no icon for just one item in a menu can cause a large area to be unselectable.

so how do I temporarily move them somewhere where they wont load when starting SC4?

SC4 only loads files inside the Plugins folder where all your addons and mods should reside. For example, you could move these folders to the desktop.

Well NAM certainly doesn't affect Res, Ind etc. Thing is, the icons there are part of the base game and as such, it shouldn't be possible for them to go missing. File corruption is always a possibility, but that's not hugely likely.

At this point I need to ask if you've changed anything, prior to the changes in game. You state in your first post it had been working, I'm just now wondering if this isn't a graphics issue of some kind? Note Windows Update can and will install new Graphics Drivers without prompting you. It's possible a driver update has caused problems. Did all the menus start suffering the problem at the same time?
