Hi all,

I recently installed the RRW and I am having issues when I plop puzzle pieces. I have attached some pictures below. Also, I get the message on the third screenshot whenever I open my city. I would be very grateful is someone could point me to a way to solve this problem.

Also, it should be mentioned that I was having no issues with the equivalent non-RRW pieces before I installed it.

Cheers!

If I had to guess, I'd say somewhere you have a 3rd party T21 mod, probably with catenaries, where said model is missing. The RRW mod as included in the NAM does not include such cosmetic mods, so I can't see how this is a NAM problem per-se.

RRW as a mod, principally changes the railway from a texture-based to a model-based network. For the bulk of the rail system, that means using new IDs and unique pieces, which may mean such a cosmetic mod where previously installed, simply could never have appeared on the rail. However, I'm seeing these boxes on what appear to be older puzzle-pieces, where you can plop WRCs and set intersections with a single click. That content is part of the RRW that re-uses the original ID scheme from the original rails, in which case that doesn't really fit as the problem. None the less, the default NAM mod doesn't add models onto these pieces either, which is the only time that such brown boxes will appear.

I can't say for sure which mod this might be. But off the top of my head Rivit's RUM for RRW does include a centenary mod:

Likewise another very popular one is this:

Perhaps it's one of those mods causing the boxes? You could either remove the T21 mod or simply find the missing model/dependency it needs. Either would solve the problem.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.
