WINE, Boot Camp, or Mac?

Ah, yes, the flora on and off cheat. I don't think I ever bothered to use it before, but I can see how it can be useful. I do remember reading that if you turn it off and don't turn it back on, the seasonal stuff won't work any more. A city flora blasted is done to death by tree, huh? Such a weapon could prove even more dangerous than nukes in the hands of the environmentally-conscious.

My Volcano Vale city is flying now after a long, slow start. Seems I forgot to provide any medical clinics for a long time, and progress was unnaturally slooow. Ha. I just got solar power and I have significant demand for everything except ID. I can't even build fast enough to keep up with demand now, and I don't want to overdo it. I'll post some pics and updates later on—I've started taking photos from the game camera without the menu or yellow pause border. I think this city is looking and working great, and it's going to be a big city eventually. I won't even have to build a neighbor city for quite a while, since this one just keeps growing. It's kind of slow and jerky moving about when zoomed out from all the huge mountains covered with trees surrounding it, but tolerable and playable. It's incredible how vast and spacious and photo-realistic the setting is at this point. I feel like I'm flying far overhead a Canadian wilderness city. I can only imagine how awesome this game is without lags or video issues. It's such a good-looking game, even 15 years later. I do not like the cartoony dumbed down look and play of either of the newest games in the Sim franchises I love: SimCity and Civilization.
