Working on Belmont, a seaside district just north of downtown. Redevelopments have made the area quite exclusive. The rail corridor leading to one the city's two intercity terminals has been covered to bridge the gap with a park. Close to it is also Belmont marina with it's seaside villas.

This is up soon as next episode as well as releasing the "floating" trees used that some has requested.

Turns out the build got a bit bigger than I originally had planned. That means the Marina part was left out of this one, but fear not, that is up next and has been extended.

It's been a while since there were some progress pictures, so here we go!

Last episode featured Belmont Marina, which is small waterside neighborhood.

Overview of the central parts of Emory Hills. There is still a lot of work to do close to downtown. The area I am working in right now can be seen in the lower left.

And oh will the isles be cool, it is really fun to work with! Inspiration from Fort Lauderdale and some other places.

This development will most likely be split in at least two episodes, and should be really good

All parts of Belmont Keys is done, and I have started to work on the surrounding areas as well as some more modelling work.

amazing, the pic with starbucks beach and opera benches used as wall along the beach is just killing it! BTW what is this red brick building on this pic   that would go nicely with my planned postindustrial lofts

Seems like I forgot to add the last video of my hillsides. Houses were released a couple of weeks back.

I was away travelling the first two weeks of summer vacation, so progress has been slow, but now it's speeding up to a slow crawl again.

It's time to get on with the patches of green that is Downtown today and make the city a whole.

I don't record everything I build, if I would, progress would be too slow for the goals I have with Emory Hills. I try to record the interesting parts, and the unique builds. Sometimes I get distracted and go off working on something else for a while, and sometimes those sidetracks turn into something and in hindsight it might have been something that should have been recorded. But I let myself do this, as it sparks creativity and the end result is better i.m.o.

The last days I've been working on a new local center, an resurrected, densified and modern area around the high speed rail cutting through the outskirts of Emory Hills. Even though there is no build video, there will be cinematic videos of areas like these eventually! Enjoy some screenshots until then:

I haven't stopped, definitely haven't stopped. I've been busy in real life and the time I have spent building I have spent on revamping the metro and rail systems. Replacing MOM with railways with catenaries and custom underground stations. That and a big expansion of the metro. Oh, and I almost forgot, custom liveries for metro and commuter trains.

Another build that kind of fits under the I get distracted theme. This station build wasn't planned but I really like how it turned out. A custom local only elevated station over the highway and an intersection. Lots going on here

Thanks! It's gonna be mostly videos as shots of some underground places can be tricky.
