Hello everybody,
This is my very first Cities: Skylines Timelapse building episode.
The goal of this series is to recreate a certain part of Namibia in cities skylines. Its going to be a short series of 3 Episodes until its finished.

Let me know what you think!

That project looks very good. You are right, it's the right size for detailing. It's not even only the matter that you get bored of detailing a big city to that level, it simply doesn't work (the game will just grind to a halt).

Yes, you can make custom airports like that work, although it would have to be very slightly bigger. There are custom working plane stands that only consist of the strip the plane stops on, draggable runways and taxiways on the workshop. I'm not sure whether there's a way to cover up the lights though.

As I had been living in the desert for quite some time, I have to say your attempt looks rather convincing. Good luck for your future projects!

Great job doing something different. I dig the music you've selected and how you're setting the atmosphere.

Thanks. Its really hard finding copyright free music that is actually at least partly good. I probably have to use some of the pieces multiple times since theres not so much to choose from but I hope nobody´s going to notice :)
