Cars, Exits, and RHW

Here we go again.....

This time I sort of came up with the subject while searching forums.....except.......

Seems my cars are exiting my highways whenever they want...not at the entrance/exit ramps. When I searched this question (why do they do this?) the only answer I found was; they can't exit anywhere except at ramps. Ummmm.....NO!

I have cars getting on a section of RHW using a ramp but then veering off at it's destination without the use of any ramp. Is there a way to stop this or is this simply a glitch in the game. I have the latest NAM.

I will try to get a screen shot and post in a comments.

here are the pictures.

Haven't figured out how to get the pictures to post in proper order yet but the middle is the overall route. The right hand picture shows traffic entering at the ramp correctly while the left hand picture indicates the car exiting the RHW at a subway station.

Let's say you upload them here all at once and they are showing as thumbnails at the bottom of the editor. Click your mouse in the text box where you want a pic, then click the thumbnail of that pic and it'll pop into place. I always then hit the enter key cause the cursor will be blinking to the right side of the pic. Rinse and repeat for the other pics.

If you've already placed all the pics, you can edit your post and click and drag them to rearrange them. Or (and I find this easier myself) just click and delete them in the text box, but you still have them as thumbnails then do the method above. Note: Clicking the delete trash can icon for the thumbnail really deletes the image from ST. If you do that accidentally, you can just re-upload.

The solution here is to move the transit station away from the highway. His is a common problem with transit stations since by nature they convert traffic from one type to another and don't necessarily need paths leading to them in order for traffic to access them. Touching neighboring tiles is usually enough here.

The deck jumping phenomenon can be seen as well if you place a transit station just before an overpass, though in fairness this is technically not deck jumping, merely normal game behavior working in unwanted ways.

APSMS....Kinda what I thought. I need to let the city run a while so stupid imbecile man realizes the subway station isn't there anymore.
