Can the Nuclear Plant meltdown?

SimCity for SNES, SimCity 2000, and I believe SimCity 3000 all had that ultra-rare occasion that a Nuclear Plant could meltdown and create radioactivity for a wide distance.

Does this also happen in SimCity 4? can the Nuclear Plant in SimCity 4 have a Core Meltdown?

Yes, it happens when the capacity of the plant reaches 0 lightbulbs, and its very destructive: blows away the nearby buildings, terraforms a crater under the plant, and radiates a huge part of the city, making it almost inhabitable.

Nuclear is a very scary thing. both power plants and nuclear weapons. The destructive power of them is nightmare inducing.

It truly is something scary, not just in games but also in real life.

yea I was talking real life. its not so scary in games as you know its just pixels.
