I am having some issues connecting my 6S highway to a 6S highway bridge. I have got it to work once before, but right now it simply will not work. There appears to be a brown stub that shows up, but it doesn't connect.

Does anyone know what the brown stub actually means? Does anyone have a solution for connecting a 6S highway to a 6S bridge?

Thanks for any help or advice on this one, it is a puzzler!

So, I didn't think I would be able to solve this one, but after 30 mins of furious clicking and replacing the bridge I have found a solution. When placing the bridge, make sure there is just a single stub coming out of the bridge and that it is slightly pointing downwards. CoB5I9L.jpg

This solved the issue and I was able to connect the highway to the bridge. What a puzzler. Does anyone know why it does that? I didn't mean to solve the issue myself, I thought maybe after a good hour of trying to connect the bridge I was doomed. All it took was another 30 min of panic clicking ;)

Anyway, hopefully this helps any other would be bridge builders in their endeavours,

Lacking any RHW experience, I cannot help you on this topic, I'm afraid, but I wanted to say thank you for showing others how you found the solution!  :)

It's so annoying when people post a problem you try to wrap your head around, but when you ask questions to narrow down the potential reasons and solutions, all you get is a "nvm, solved it". What did the problem actually look like? What caused it? How was it solved? We'll never know... :meh:

Likely the height difference between the bridge and the tile after the gap (even though it looks small) is sufficient to prevent dragging the RHW. Remove the road after the gap and drag from the bridge first, that way it'll work effortlessly.

Yes, that is frustrating, it is much better to try and help everyone along by giving an answer when you solve one of your own problems.

Yes, that was pretty much the solution in the end. Making sure there was only 1 stub out from the bridge. I had made the terrain flat, but still it didn't like it with more than the 1 bridge stub. A little more flattening and dragging the road out from the bridge did it. Thanks :)

I don't use the RHW , but I've used the NWM , and built a RD6 Bridge and had issues getting it connected because the slope was too steep. I had to make it more smooth.
