All of the LA River Lots are under the PARKS MENU, way down near the end of it. I am hoping the new Custom SubMenu Mod will make things better 4.gif

NOTE: The LA River Project Files will be locked for a few weeks, as i am going to completely revamp them. When they come back, you will have to replop them all, sorry for the inconvienance. But this revamp will make the whole project a lot better in the end.

    LAR - River

First look at the new stuff. The water is now transparent, you can see the river bed beneath, and the items floating in the river will be in propfamilies, and be a lot more varied. Plus You will be able to see a preview of each piece when ploping it, no more guessing which way it goes.

I like the grimy color of the sewage, really realistic!

BBfan, thank you very much. I don't have a picture right now, but I darkened the texture of the cement, and now it looks really good. I had some trouble with custom LODS not working the way I had hoped on a few pieces, and will post a photo after I redo them. Thankfully it is only 4 pieces.

So far I have not been able to find a beat up old car prop, or model, but if I do, I promise it will be in there.

Exploding Sims, thank you very much.

It looks very nice. I see you've made the graffiti less angular if you see what I mean 4.gif It's a lot better than before, nice and grungy. Keep it up 4.gif Can we expect a dry version?

Yes ... 5 or 6 versions in all, eventually.

Since a dry version is the most asked about, I may do that one right after I post this one.

I like those lots very much. My only suggestion would be to fade those graffities a wee bit more and maybe - if possible - give them a bit more jagged edges to make them look more "natural"...

Keep up the good work! 4.gif

PS: What I would really like to see would be a transition to the PEG channels... 4.gif

    1. Graffiti ... I agree and will be working on that.

    2. Thank you very much.

    3. Already got Pegasus', permission, and support for that 4.gif

    LAR Update:

Still a bit left to do, but almost ready for a new release.

These WILL NOT be compatible with my old Ditches or River lots.

This is so cool! It looks so ugly in such a good way. Projects like this remind new people like me that not everything in real life is pretty, and it should be reflected in the game. Are you planning a dry version?

Jill: Thank you, and yes, dry version is next.

Maranello: I am glad you like the new graffiti props 4.gif

Silur: Thanks for the pictures, they will help on the LAR Streams.

Just so you know, I am revamping the Ditches and Rivers, and also doing Streams. All will come in wet, dry, full, and clean versions. You will be able to control how much junk is in them, as well as the graffiti.

I am also planning transisition lots for PEGs Ponds, Steams, and Canals. I might even do some for SimGoobers Canals. This will all take time, so please be patient. I am also now working with the RAM team, and may be pretty busy.

If you mean animate the water? There are 2 main problems with that.

    1. I don't know how to do animated props yet.

    2. It would slow down the game too much, with so many animated props.

A while back I saw something about waterfalls, I dont if someone modded that or if it was the game itself but it looked good.I'll try and find that but still, your rivers look excellent man!

I can add some of those effects to a few of the pieces, but to much will slow the game down a lot.
