That would be me. Bomberman is oldschool. And it's a great image of him. I still like my avatar better than yours, but there's something just not right about voting for yourself.

 

Also, as cool as the BK guy is, a lot of people don't like him. It actually looks like sloppet and his stupid penguin trip is going to win...

Well this seems to be running away with Cjah and Sloppet. Patriotism vs. Penguin Stupidity. Who will win? You decide.

I move that sloppet be disqualified since he isn't using the avatar in question anymore. Or, if you're going to vote for him, base it on his new one, not the penguins one. Same for compromise, or for any contestant who changes their avatar before the contest is over.

I never said that you can't change your avatar after you have entered. This is why I make participants post their current avatar in the thread so that if they change, I am not confused as to which avatar pic they entered when I collect them all and make the voting thread.

However, if someone posts a picture just for the contest or if it is their avatar for a very short period of time, then that is a DQ because anyone can go on Google and find a cool pic and use it for this contest. In order to enter your avatar, it must have been your av for a reasonable amount of time, or if it is a new avatar, it must remain your avatar for at least the duration of the contest. Yes, I know the rule is a little vague, but the decision is mostly subject to common sense.

 

I also recommend that if there is another allegation similar to this, then it should be PMed to me instead of posted. This is how bad things get started.

 

Bottom line: Sloppet is not DQed.

Thanks for the 2 people so far (incl. compro) who voted for me. In retrospect, my avatar is exceedingly ugly. I should've made one specially for the occasion and made it my new one.
