Holy freakin crap people. She didn't swallow the phone. It was allegedly shoved down her throat during an argument by her boyfriend who then called the police and told them she was having trouble breathing. She was taken to the hospital where he then told the story again, she went in for emergency surgery to remove the phone, and then she was able to tell the police what happened. He has since been arrested.

And where did I call anyone here stupid? The only time I used that word is when I was commenting on the original posters liberal use of the word in describing this woman. I only said each that had posted before me was wrong. That's it.

I would like it if you would read every part of every post before you poke your head in somewhere you think it belongs. If you don't I'd be forced to call you something, but wait, I can't, because you told me not to.

I actually heard of a girl in BANGKOK, Thailand, who swallowed a toothbrush! Her throat was itchy, and then she decided to push it down her throat to scratch a bit. Something went wrong and she swallowed the whole thing! She went to the doctor, and at first they didn't pick it up on the X-rays, so they send her home. Only after she the second time she came back did they notice it!
