Kanada Region

Started a new Region called Kanada, a very not-to-scale map of Canada.

Any suggestions on how to improve the maps would be greatly appreciated. 8 Large cities West to East are Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal and Newfoundland.

Running into trouble with Agriculture demand, starting new cities with no demand. I usually like to map all agriculture and then build RCI outward from the middle so outskirts are always Ag. How do I boost demand for just Ag without effecting other types? Is there an Ag MOD? I have SPAM but that does not seem to be working. :s

Even with Plopomatic I cannot create any Agriculture demand!

It's probably because your sims are too smart and don't want farming jobs. This is is why it's best to build agriculture before you build much any schools or any substantial residential development. However, you can easily get around this by downloading the Census Repository Vault (requires an account on the LEX) and placing one (or more) in your city. Its main purpose is to show you detailed info about your city when you query it, but the vault (that's the smaller of the two buildings contained in this download) also provides some cap relief for agriculture.

The first city I made was Viktorija.

A medium sized city occupying the southern half of Vankuveris Island.

You can get from the island to the mainland on a ferry or by train via the Vankuveris Island Bridge.
