I'm very interested in this because there's still not a good McD's asset on the workshop, in my opinion. There are a few McD's on there, but they're all either too big (in terms of geometry and/or file size) or they just don't look like real locations.

This one is looking promising, but still not quite there, at least to me. I think the colors might have a lot to do with it. Is it based on any existing McDonald's location?

Also, the layout of the lot always seems to be wrong on the others. This one I'm not sure about. I don't recall seeing the yellow zone markings at any McD's I've ever been to. I know the lot is a balancing act if you're trying to make it growable. Personally, I don't care about being growable. I just want things to look right.

I'm interested to see where this asset goes.

Also, there's a good McD's parking lot sign, and Ronald McDonald props on the workshop.

This will be a monument or RICO building. It is based on modern NA style. I have layed out the parking lot as simple as I can so players can build there own parking. In reality these drive thru's take up a lot of space and I've hit the prop limit with what you see. Would you prefer the zone marking to be white?  Which colors do you not like?

I definitely prefer to lay out my own parking, but I'm much more picky about parking that most people.

I think the green is what's throwing it off, at least to my eyes. Most McD's are white or very light tan brick with either a red or a light brown shingled roof. The red roof is pretty iconic, along with the golden arches.

I did find one in my city that is structurally very much like yours, but it has a light tan brick lower half and a kind of light beige upper half. Here's the one I'm seeing:

    https://www.google.com/maps/@37.6730804,-97.4162341,3a,75y,30.6h,76.91t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s3VAUOPQ7yVqCmYrag7_bOA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656!6m1!1e1

I'm also looking at that one in satellite view and I see what you're going for with the no parking zone area, though it's at the end of the parking on the other side of the drive-thru lane. I don't know what you can really do about the drive-thru.

Yours is pretty close to right, I think it's mainly the green color scheme that's throwing me off. Are there any out there like that?

I'm anxious to see how this turns out. I've been wanting a really good McD's for my city since launch.

    Thanks for the feedback King,

I live in the UK so most of our Mcdonalds are converted old pubs and the modern ones are a bit like this http://www.mcdonalds.co.uk/ukhome/Aboutus/Development/case_study.html

I wont be changing anything other than the stone texture you said was too green. As for the drive thru, players will have to apply the arrow decals that come with the road mods. They are not props, so I cant include them in the necessary props list (which will be huge anyway)

I'd like your opinion on this update and Iv'e my fingers crossed for some great new assets from yourself.

I must agree with @Matthias King, the texture look to green'ish. I very much like the pavement tho. But is there a reason why the curb around the pavement is green too ? And also the roof membrane ? Texture place maybe ?

I like it more without the parking spaces and the additional props. I would maybe switch one picnic table for a garbage can or something different.

The thing I like the most is the shape of the building which I think is realistic, but that entrance tower definitely need some sort of a flashing at the top. Architecturally talking, you cannot end brick a the top like this.

Nonetheless, keep on the good work and I hope to see it on the workshop soon :) !

What do you mean by texture place maybe?

Not enough place for more textures on your diffuse map was my interrogation ;)

I agree, it's looking good. My only feedback would be to alter the color of the bricks to be either white, or a light beige. Other than that, it looks very good. I'm anxious to get this in my city. Every US city needs a McD's to feel authentic, and this one looks good.

Do you think it still looks green?

I just saw you put the McD's on the workshop. Great job. It looks really good, and finally, we have a McD's that's a good file size!

    Excellent work.

EDIT* Also, I just had an incredibly obvious thought. I have no idea if it's in your plans or not, but I'd love to see a Burger King from you next, if you were so inclined.

Thanks for the awesome McD's. I've been waiting for this for a long time.
