Good luck with this, but changing all those textures will be a big job, and has to be done in both MN and DN versions with things the way they are now.  Any model with windows is affected.

RTMT is a set of lots, for the most part the lack of night lighting is not really anything to do with RTMT itself. You see, RTMT can be used with any props you like. So for example, if the bus shelter and phonebox props you use have such lighting, you will see it on the lots. But RTMT doesn't create these props for use with it, those are made by others. As such, we have no control over whether the models have such features.

It's quite easy to create a new prop exemplar to use different models with RTMT lots. So if you can find appropriate models with lighting to use, then it's totally possible.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

Not really, virtually all RTMT "main" buildings (well, props) ie the Bus Stop Shelter, Subway Entrance and GLR Shelter actually do have nightlights; only some very old models may not - only that old blue/gray busstop comes to mind. Ancillary props, like the Bus Sign, Timetable or Phone-Booth (if you install any - they're all optional) may or may not have, eg the TfL bus sign does, while SC4 props (like newspapers or trashcans) usually don't, SimGoober's vending machines do have though. So it is actually a matter of the models you have selected. And these are really old (made some 10 years ago!), and their creators are no longer active and can't be contacted, let alone asked to provide updated versions. You can use the Reader to check whether the model you are interested in does really contain nightlight textures too. Now, if the model does contain night-masks but they aren't displayed ingame, this yes, IS a bug, and you can report it to the RTMT Team.

As with all lots, it must be powered, and it may take about a game-month, for the nightlights to show up. Also, as some props like the bus-stop shelter or subway entrance are located near to, or sometimes overlapping the lot's boundary, lights may again not be displayed. Switch between day and night a couple of times to check. It's a game bug (or "feature", if you prefer :D), but it can easily be worked around, just zone, grow or plop something behind the RTMT lot, it works then. Described in the documentation too.
