International hacking organization Anonymous recently declared war on Donald Trump, meaning they plan to "dig up old dirt" to ruin his image, as well as shut down his website.

Besides, Trump's dirt is already out in the open and his supporters have no objection to it.  You'd have better chances convincing a brick wall to be less wall-y.

Anonymous is still a thing? And only now are they deciding to go after Trump? Did they go after Hilary? What a bunch of wannabes.

Anyone remember in 2012 when they claimed to have the dirt on Romney and tried to ransom it for $1 million in BitCoins?

Anonymous is not really an organization. Literally anyone with a V for Vendetta Guy Fawkes mask and a voice distorter can publicly claim to from anonymous and declare they are going after this or that person.

I get what you mean. It's just a banner people can rally under. Once rallied under that banner for a cause they become a group of sorts even though they might not even be in contact with one another. Anyone can claim to be "Anonymous" which is kinda what makes it so lame.

I guess even just saying your going after trump is enough for Trump to take it and run with it.

If he dont like protesters and verbally abuses them on live TV,  what's he going to think of  bunch of hackers hiding behind being anonymous?

He will not care. its almost an endorsement for him
