[Solved] Strange Issue with Brown Boxes

Hi everyone, I am having the strangest issue with these brown boxes. Initially I thought that the issue was me not having the proper dependency files in my Plugins folder but I've checked and I'm still having issues. What is strange is I was scrolling through my "Landmarks" menu in-game and I clicked the John Hancock building and plopped it, being a Chicago native I just wanted to see what it looked like. There are brown boxes all along the base of the building. When I saw this I went to the Plugins folder to make sure that I had the "bldgprop" .dat's, and I have both of those included. My game is also up to date as are my dependency files. I can attach photo's so that way you have a visual. Some of the buildings that I am having issues with are the John Hancock, Eile Department Store (found here on STEX), Pearl Place (found here on STEX), and TG AMP Centre (found here on STEX). There are almost too many buildings with these brown boxes and it is quite the eye sore. If someone can help me out that would be great.

Thank you!

I think we've had this happen when a tree system has overridden some of the Maxis tree exemplars.  If you are using a tree controller, make sure it loads last, and see if the problem persists.  If so, you probably have to decide what you want to have in your plugins.

Thank you for the quick reply. I'm not sure if I have a tree controller. How would I be able to check? Certain lots require a certain type of tree but I don't think I've downloaded a mod that replaces the maxis trees. If it turns out that I am in fact that I am using a tree controller, how do I set it so it loads fast.

    UPDATE:

I corrected the issue, I did have tree replacement mods in my plugins folder. I removed them and all of the troubled lots are no longer an issue. Thank you!

That's what I figured was the issue when I read this. If you want to use that tree replacement mod (let's face it; most of the Maxis trees don't look all that good), make sure you download all the dependencies for the tree replacement mod. If you read the readme for said mod, they usually include a list of dependencies and links for where to download them.
