Posting pictures

can any one explain how to post pictures now that we have a new format on the site? before I would go to my imgur site click the BBcode and copy it to the post this seems not to work anymore thanks for any help.

I use imgur as well. To post an imgur image to Simtropolis now, you need to copy the "Direct Link" url and then click the little image icon when posting (the icon farthest to the right) and paste the Direct Link url you copied into the URL box in the Image Properties window that pops up.

I'm not good at explaining things so I'll just do this:

Yup.  Imgur changed a while back to provide the linkage code directly instead of having to click a button to copy it.  All you have to do is click on the direct link and hit control-c, the control-v to place it in the image box's url line.

For other sites, it is a matter of extracting the direct link from wherever they supply it.

So not only is ST overhauled for the better (so far), but did you notice that Simpeg had a fatal crash and the site has been abandoned?  Recovery efforts going forward to move the PLEX to the STEX in a new section.
