Thank you! It's at about 250 polys, a bit more than technically needed because I've modelled the scaffolding instead of alpha mapping it. But the lod is real low poly.

For the glow I'm using an illumination map, so this one has diff, spec, color and illum.

Edit, it's on the workshop:

if only we knew what the signs said...  lol, very nice work.

I have just released my Chinese garden wall set as props.  I am in the process of making them ploppable/terrain conforming now.

Thanks, they just have random symbols for restaurant, bar, club, hotel etc. I'm sure any native Chinese speaker would spot some mistakes in there. One of the signs was a joke it says something along the lines of 'this overpriced space for rent'. :P

I was considering doing some market stalls or something, I presume there's still demand for more...

I will definitely check out your walls!

I will start using the asset when the after dark patch is out (one day after my last exam).

I really hope it will work as is and I don't have to go back and change all the illumination layers...

You can already created illumination maps which are compatible with after dark. Just set the color of illuminated parts to #787878

I saw that post yeah, think I'll wait it out until I can test it properly (probably will just have to change max brightness to 120).

I am really looking forward to having a Chinatown theme, and Soldyne, you've made some beautiful assets. So I was inspired to start creating some parks to blend into new Chinatown neighborhoods as well as other neighborhoods. If you're interested...

I'm not really fan of the overcolored trees. But these parks look really nice!

    My favorites so far:

    Meditation Garden 4x4
    Garden of the Healing Spring

I'm with you on the trees. I wouldn't download any of the colored trees for a long time, but I realized that as long as some of the buildings have crazy plastic colors, they actually fit in. And depending on which LUT you use, they can look pretty nice. But thanks. I'm having a lot of fun making parks.

I expected these to become a nightmare, but to my own surprise they don't seem to need any update!

I guess props are handled separately from the time cycle...

originally I thought that a string of lanterns that long would need some extra sag support.

    hows this?

Hi Soldyne, is there any way you can update these props and any other lantern props you've created so they light up?

    http://steamcommunity.com/workshop/filedetails/?id=497646829

I played around with lighting in the asset editor, but that's not going to cut it. I don't know anything about lighting a prop, so I'm just sincerely asking if this is possible and if you have any plans to do so. Thanks!
