Are there any advantages to the full version of the game over the free version?

 

I have a commercial demand problem, is it because of the park/commerce patch, that i dont have? I have a population of 75k and no major problems, other than demand for all 3 is very low.

 

How do i pull in more tourists? getting 50 at the stadium/wk. 

 

Land value is good, Services are good.

What do you mean free version, do you mean pirated, if so don't bother asking here that's against the rules of the site. To my knowledge there is no free version of Skylines officially released.

There is indeed no free version. Do you mean just the normal game (not Deluxe) or a cracked game? With that last one, no one is going to help you.

I wasnt aware it was an illegal download, i thought it was a free game, off to purchase the game.

What kind of site makes you not aware it was illegal? Every site I know where you can download games illegally (yes, I've done it in the past) looks like very much it's illegal. And it is, of course.

all it said was to download 5 or 6 other programs to run it, i just clicked the download link for the game and it worked, i am now the proud owner of a legal copy of Cities , Thanks for your help

Oh goodness. If I were you I'd run your computer through a full anti-virus/malware check with about a half-dozen or more of them (and if you have to use Google to find said programs, don't click on any of the first links since they're paid advertisements and will most likely contain even more malware). "Warez" sites are notorious for infection people's PCs with all manner of nasty things. You can use AVG and/or Avast, and right now I don't remember the name of the malware removal tools.

 

And yeah for legal licenses!

@Ultimate727, I took their post to mean that when they originally downloaded there was nothing overtly indicative of it being illegal and they went through a process of downloading a bunch of stuff in order to make the illegal copy of the game work. It is those six or so other things they had to download I was referring to in my above post because likely as not they're malware that's doing who knows what all to his computer.

 

We need to remember there still are people fairly new to the internet and computer gaming in general.
