Then how will anyone know when I release something new? I could have one single thread for all my trees but then people will stop looking after a while.

Each time you release something just announce it in your thread, and update the first post so it show the new item first. The forums will be a bit clearer if people use one "here's my work" thread.

You don't need to wait for next time. You can change a thread's title at any point in time as well as completely edit the whole thread... just saying.
