giorgos69 tried it, but with very little knowledge of gmax; JEC tried it, but a hard drive disaster hit him hard and lost it. the result: the stadium was never completed properly: only a small pirimitive release. Then in came Athens2004...

It has been one of the hardest BAT challenges, but the waiting is finally over for the release of the re-creation of the Athens Olympic Stadium for SimCity 4

Yeah, it's nice, but I think you're kinda overdoing yourself in the text above, yeah it's a great project, yeah, you did a good job. I think you did well but it isn't perfect...

I will close with the comments I left on your lot on the exchange, and hope you will listen.

Though it looks good...including dependencies in the file is something most BATters don't want you to do. It also makes the file size tremendous. You are also illegally distributing Maxis's flag props which is against their terms of agreement, thus illegal.
With that said you also gave no credit at all to the people that created the props you included with this file! I advise you to provide a link and credit to these files rather than illegally distibuting these files, wasting STEX space, and defying BATter's access to deserved credit.

My first thanks goes to the maker of the flag props, Ill Tonkso, without them, the lot wouldn't have been lively.

The maker of Beijing Props, JT deserves my warm thanks for hmy inspiration with their props,

Hi, I appreciate your BAT but I suggest you to change... attitude. That might help you having more helpful and friendly comments. The constructive interaction potential here is huge (it's probably the best thing of ST) and it's disapointing that you cannot benefit from that 100%.

As I understood it, the download includes all dependencies. So why do I get these brown boxes? I've tried to redownload and reinstall both the normal one and the one with 300 jobs with the same result. Please help.

EDIT: It seems two model files are missing in the installation, its the fountain and white tent props by JTPortland.

Very nice Athens! This BAT obviously took alot of work and I want to say thankyou!! It looks brilliant! Just remember to put a list of all the creators of your dependancies. I look forward to more quality BATs from you! Keep up the stunning work!

I noticed after Downloading this and using it my Streetlmps on the Avenues turn to brown boxes at night apparently there is a confict I traced it to this lot anyone else having this issue?

I having the same problem as you. I'm about to un-install it once I found the un-installer... The download file is pretty huge too.

Sorry to dig this up but does anyone have this bat in their plugins already?

I used to until a computer crash...damn.

The stadium was always the centrepiece of my olympic park and now I am trying to remake it, the bat has been taken off stex!

I know it was buggy and what not but if anyone has it, please PM me.

Anthens2004/Constantina (they're the same person) faked/stole all of his uploads. He can't actually BAT. That member was banned and the uploads were removed.

So I'm going to lock this thread.
