Now that its that time of year, Christmas, many places are releasing gift cards for their merchandise. I thought ST should do the same. Creating a giftcard would allow the ST name to be spread and also it would help with maintenance costs of bandwith. This would be an awesome thing to see come to life...

I think that it is a great idea, however I don't think that it is logistically feasible as Dirk would either have to line someone up to produce the gift cards as they were needed (which would be expensive) or Dirk would have to buy the equipment to make and operate a gift card payment system (which would also be expensive).  As great an idea as it seems, I don't think that it is feasible.

Yes fantastic idea, but it would be very expensive to do.. But, we can make our own ST.com Gift Cards on our Pc's, make a Contest, in which we will choose the best gift card, and later we could send out this iift card in the net (st.com  ) and it would be a cool thing

Instead, make a nice picture and PM it to people. That way dirk has to do nothing, and it's a nice personal touch. And, the people that are offended by christmas according to the ACLU can make up their own holiday cards, to send to their friends. With pictures of holiday trees, and holiday presents, etc.

ST e-cards would be neat though.
