Searching for some lots

Hello, I am looking for some blank lots with jobs, did anyone ever make industrial or commercial 'blank' lots 1x1?

The main reason i'm looking for this is so I can build bigger midtowns and suburbs, without always having to find the right industrial or commercial buildings with it.

I don't know of any such lots.  You could use the lot editor and make one yourself.  Make it look like a park with a 1000 jobs.

Or, instead of looking for an easy way to short circuit the game, take the time to learn to play.

I have thought about making some 1x1 commercial plazas/parks that would only grow on high density, but have 1 commercial job or more attached to them. However, my goal was different: I wanted to make sure I got paved sidewalks in my CBD instead of losing the paved sidwalk because I plopped too many actual parks/plazas alongside e.g. a diagonal avenue.

I know these exist as I've seen them before.

 

No idea if they survive today though.  They were likely on the EA server.
