At the far southern tip of the city an Army Base was built.

A whole new community sprouted up around the base on Military Blvd.

Great job!  I really like how you have your downtown structured and the transit system looks very realistic.  I look forward to seeing more screens from your region!

This was a nice update! Love all the detail.
How many people live in Freeport?

Edit - I think you make the difference between high rise to low rise in some spots too obvious. Try zoning some medium rise right on the outskirts of where the tall buildings are for a realistic and better look.

For some reason I can't get any new residents to move to the main city. 151K commercial and only 108K residential and 26K industrial. When new medium density buildings are built, the they can't find their way to jobs, buildings abandon so I just end up zoning more commercial and have neighbors that are mostly residential.

Now when I think about it. I dont even have high density residential in that part of town.

Freeport has grown considerably since the last update and that required building a larger, newer, state of the art aiport facility. The brand new Freeport International Airport opens today.

Fisherville, a brand new community. The construction of the new airport nearby fueled the office boom that has turned Fisherville from what was originally planned as a suburb into a mini-city.

Most of the growth in Freeport occured in the northeast. A new loop is currently being built around the northen eastern portion of the city and half of it is complete.

This is Cinnamon Hills, one of the northeastern suburbs. Its pretty much your standard suburb. Its mostly a residential community but it has an office park, industrial park and a small retail strip.

This is the City of Rosemeade. This was an independant urban community but recently is has been annexed into Freeport's urban sprawl, however the city still retains its own identity. There's the Old Rosemeade, and the New Rosemeade, which is the more suburban side of the city on the other side of the river.

Original City of Rosemeade. Not too long ago most of this area was in a state of decay.

Update of downtown Freeport. Even though most of the growth occured outside of the inner city, Freeport did manage to capture some new commercial growth. However, residential growth has remained stagnant.
