One of the most exciting videos I have seen regarding this game was one that showed off a train network in a built-up city.  Follow one train for 19 minutes:

I would like smaller footprint elevated rail stations, but otherwise, this pleases the model railroader in me.

Edit: I noticed that there are some other videos from this guy linked in another thread. Feel free to move this there.

i like how it slows down to take the corners and then speeds up on the straight runs. Very nice touch.

Yup. As I said, it really speaks to my inner model railroader, and that one learned already during his teen years that it's better to reduce speed before you send your train through those narrow curves. Of course, who didn't enjoy seeing his train fly off the tracks at least once

Now let's see how long the station with elevated platforms needs to appear.

You ought to check out Cities in Motion 2 if you like building that sort of stuff.  I've been playing it a lot lately (I bought it back in 2013).

Oh, I have that game and played it a lot. Oddly enough, it doesn't have standard rail. I used metros as elevated rails though.

I just love what you can do with this game already, even if an elevated station would be really appreciated.

I'd like it to bring back trams and rapid transit (subways and so on).

Subways are in.  Trams are (highly) likely in the works or high up on their list.  They had them in CIM.

This is ridiculous.  I have been watching this video several times.  I love it!  I could watch and just play with the train system all day.  That is so amazing.  I hope they add more depth to the train management as that would be so much fun.
