Hi,

 

I've been looking for things like "top mods that every player should have" in your SC4. And I have found a lot of things that can be install with their dependences. Now that I start one by one, I'm starting get tired and bored by so many downloads, unzip and setups.

 

Now I wonder if there's a "mother of all" setup, where it's possible just put inside my SC4 folder and ta-da, all these basics functionals mods are able for more fun.

First of all, it's against natural copyright laws because such bundles probably don't have permission from the makers to re-distribute their work.  So we don't support such things here at Simtropolis.  That said, you will find some available for download around the internet.  They are all several years old though, because of course this is a 12 year old game and interest has waned.  You also can't guarantee the safety of those downloads.  The regulated exchanges here and at SC4D and SimPeg are much safer.

 

If you want the best, most recent and updated content, you'll have to get it one pack at a time.

 

Besides, it takes time to learn how to use all the different mods, and where everything is in your menus.  It's actually easier to go slowly.

 

 

EDIT---some pro tips for mass-downloading:

• To unzip multiple zipped files, highlight all the zipped folders, and then right-click and drag them to somewhere; a context menu will pop up and you can unzip them all at once.
• Blast through installers by spamming the Enter key (make sure you know exactly what's going on with these downloads, you don't want to miss important info in the installer!)
• Keep your plugins folder organized.  You want to know where everything is.
