Looking for a 'beach painter'

Hello all,

lately I've been experimenting with different terrain mods. I've currently found one which I like a lot. It normally has some swampy like shores.

Now in some locations (for example at one shore of a lake) I would like to add some small recreational beach area's. So for those area's I would like to paint in a beach without changing the look of my coasts across the regions.

In the peg ponds kit there are some MMP brushes to add sand textures, but those are REALLY small. I'm looking for a much larger version of one of these, but havent'been able to find any as of yet.

So, so anyone know if something like this is available, or know if it would be a tall order to mod something for the MMP menu (I haven't done any personal modding/editting of files myself, so in that case it would be a friendly request :)).

Kind regards.

has some draggable sand textures for this purpose, although I'm not too convinced of the textures. The brown ones tend to leave patterns, and the grey sand looks somewhat plain. But have a look, maybe you love them. You can paint those textures on land and under Maxis water. They work very nicely.

Heblem's sand MMPs from pack, has made 2 small brushes for each which compliment them too.

JenX's Poseidon mod has an interesting take on this, I highly recommend checking it out if you haven't yet.

Head over to my Lot and Mod Shack to keep abreast of my latest developments.

Do you like custom textures, but don't like all the work involved creating them?, take a look at the Texture Automation options here. Change the look and feel of your transit networks, with the minimum of effort, for example customised versions of my Sidewalk NAM (SWN) and Terrain Grass NAM (TGN) mods, and much more besides.

New to the NAM? Check out my tutorials on YouTube. Latest upload: How to: RHW - MHO Roundabout Interchanges. (Nov 25).

p.s. - I'm MGB over on SC4D and a member of the NAM team.

Awesome, thanks both for the tips. I'll definately take a look at them.

I'll probably have some more questions later (I had a little project tonight) :P
