Any chance for High Tech only mod

I remember Simcity 3k Nerdz rules cheat where only high tech popped up. Is there any mod that does this or would it be possible to make one?

why not just raise taxes for other industries exept high technology to make sure that other industries don't come into your city.

No matter how high taxes are, some dirty industry would build in your city anyway. It would take quite a long time for taxes, pollution, education, etc, to balance itself out to build a successful high-tech community.

There is no quick-fix solution to this, and if there is, let me kn0w!

There is a SuperDemand Mod available in the Modding Files section that allows you to do this. Basically, it raises the demand for HI in your city so much, that other types can't compete, and eventually get built over.

I agree with other posters who suggest raising taxes on dirty and mfg to 20%. What I tend to do on large, successful cities is wait until my population is nice and educated and industrial demand is high, and I'm making a nice profit, whack up dirty and mfg taxes to 20% and make a HUGE profit until I have a large amount in the bank, and then start clearing the industrial buildings. They always get replaced by hig tech, and plenty of it. Dirty and mfg never build at 20%.

That is right, if you ever let Dirty industry in, you will have to bulldoze them to get them out, they won't leave on their own.

Yes I have raise dirty industry taxes to 20 percent, and even lowered the high-tech tax to 2 percent, less than 2 percent pollution, and well educated and healthy sims, and yet, there are still some dirsty industry. I am not syaing that thaey will always be there, but for the short term, they don't mind setting up camp.
