Looking For Mod Suggestions

Hello. I recently moved to a new hard drive, and lost the plugins folder for my old SC4 install in the process. I remember having several mods that I can now no longer locate, and I'm hoping that someone can help me track them down and find them again. In addition, there's some visual...quirks...to the cities that I've been building, that I hope to remedy with some good mods.

1.) Is there a mod to fill in the texture gaps in the NAM wide radius corners? I've attached a picture as an example.

2.) Is there a railway roadbed mod for a lighter, gravel texture? I'd like something that's more urban - dirt isn't quite right, and grass doesn't make much more sense.

3.) I'd like to set up regional power, but don't want to have the giant Maxis power trees as a neighbor connection. Is there a neighbor connections mod, or a better-looking powerline mod that can be used?

4.) I also remember having a mod way back when that got rid of the little green track cleaners, but I have searched high and low and have been completely unable to find it. Is it still available?

Any and all help would be greatly appreciated - thanks!

Welcome to Simtropolis.

I can answer the first question: there are draggable equivalents to those curves; use those and the sidewalks will appear. It should be somewhere in the documentation for the NAM.

Third question: A lot of the "better power lines" that you may see are just eyecandy power lines that don't actually transmit power, especially between cities. Even if you manage to find better looking power lines, keep in mind that most of them don't actually override the default power lines. You could use them but you need some other means of transmitting power, either the default power lines themselves but just well hidden, or by building a chain of parks (or similar) to transmit power (did you know you could do that?).

I did know about that - I was asking more for for transmitting power between regions, so that I don't need local power for each city tile.

I had no idea there were draggable NAM S-curves and 45 degree curves though, I will go find those now.
