Hey guys, I'm just wondering if anyone planning to buy NFSMW? As for me, I'm planning to because the game seem to have pretty good reviews and its like the old NFSHP with the high speed police chases 4.gif

So, share your opinions and remember

I'm planning on getting it for Christmas. I think it looks awesome, and, since it's a racing game, I would be getting it anyways.

I'm really looking forward to the NFS return to supercars in the game, and I can't wait to drive the Aston Martin.29.gif

Yes, NFS:MW is definitely a good game. I remember when NFS:U came out, there was an uproar among old school NFS fans. They were disappointed with the huge hip hop route the developers took with the game, while totally dumbing down the police chase aspect of NFS games. NFS:MW is a very good move by the developers, I don't like racing games that much, but I checked out the demo for this one and I actually liked it.

I won't be buying this anytime soon since I have other games that are higher priority, but kudos to the developers for finally making a true NFS game.

Well I probably will plan on buying it. NFS:Underground was a good game, but NFS:Hot Pursuit 2 was better to me despite the lack of good graphics, because it DID involve police chases. I have not played it yet, but what might be an issue with the game is putting exotics racers on the street with 90 degree turns. That was a major issue on Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition, but MC3 wasn't that good of a game to me.

Sooner or later, I probably will buy it.

Yea, I just rented it. The game is pretty tight, but the total beginning of the game with all the flashbacks is really weird. But it is pretty cold.

The one thing I'm disapointed about is the non-inclusion of muscle cars. The special edition version has an old Camaro, but that's it.

If I remember right, an early document mentioned including muscle cars. I think it would have been awesome to get to race a `68 Shelby, `70 GTO, or the like. That would be much cooler than some of the included cars.

I didnt get to play it, as Windows xp x64 seems to not like it,(tryed installing it from a freind), But it seems really cool, and fun, and its the best selection of cars since Hot Pursuit(the first one), though i still want to have a Lambourgini Diablo SV again ^^ Its just THE coolest car in the world!

I never did stick to the Undergroundgames, they were to hiphoppy for me, and to much adjusted to styling your car with ugly upgrades. otherwise ive liked NFS2, 3(Hot Pursuit), 5(Porche). Im kinds dying to play this game ^^ im gonna have to hijack my friends computer and play it ^^

NFS Porsche as very good, better than HP2 graphics-wise (IMO). I only resented he fact that it wasn't an open environemtn Nad I did resent that for all the games until NFSU2). I have to say I haven't played NFSMW yet, but I am one of those people who saw the turn to street racing negatively. I enjoyed playing NFSU, but racing in a Nissan is nothing like racing in a Porsche!

Hallelujah for high-end cars and cops.

The very first Need for Speed I got was Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit. Than all the others that followed until it came to Need for Speed: Underground. Then for some odd reason I wasn't in to it anymore.

Well, I loved nfsu 1, nfsu2 was great, and I've played once nfsmw, and I have to say it's ok, some things are not as good as in nfsu 1 & 2, but it's still a itop rated game for me 16.gif

I just bought this game yesterday fo PS2. I love the open ended police chases. That's my favorite part. However, I think I got into it too far. I had a chase of over 30 minutes and I couldn't get past the level 3 heat. I wanted the better cop cars after me, but I guess I have to unlock everything first.

My only beef is the lack of manual. Seriously, they should have just not included a manual at all. I hate games like that.

I just got the game for Christmas, and I was addicted, until my parents kicked me off to do homework.

But I did make it to the #10 spot with the Golf GTI, a RX-8 and Porsche Cayman (aewsome car) that I won, and a cruddy Lancer Evo that I purchased.

But it is an awesome game, and I love the pursuits. I took the Lancer on just one, and racked up 174,000 bounty.

got the game for christmas.  i'm already #5 on the blacklist, but that's because i rented the game before and played a lot.  heat level 4 is now quite easy to get to, and to evade.  just floor it and find a long tunnel...
sooooo... addicting...

Is this on PC? I have it on Xbox 360 and that has online. Anyways, it's a great game, because it's the pursuits of NFS:HP2 mixed with the modding of NFS:U2.
Intresting to see the similarity between Tollbooth in Most Wanted and Breakthrough in PGR3...

I bought it after christmas and have now finished it the cop chases are at there best at heat level 5 with the Corvette cop cars they can go 200mph+ you can also rack up lots of bounty

its a very addictive game to play but it can get a bit choppy on the PS2

i beat the game a while ago.  took me much less time than it took me to beat nfs underground2.  the best memory of most wanted: sending an undercover police corvette flipping on the freeway after it tried to cut me off.  we were both moving very fast.  i watched it go flipflipflipflip...

I usally have pursuits on the highway because it would be much easyer to see the spike traps, roadblocks and Rhino SUV's there is also much more room to battle with the cops making it easyer to hit those milestone challenges
