So much is going on in the community but the community is the root reason for change and evolution.  I'm very proud of so many people whom are now working together and looking forward to a future by working together.

Its not often when a community steps up and actually changes in literally days vs years or months.  So many new modders have come on board in the last 2 weeks nearly 20 and the level of quality and cooperation due to this unification and cooperation shows in the quality of work and level of solutions that come online as new mods and ideas.

We are great as a community but we are always much stronger together and that is and has been more evident in the last 5 days and 3 days and 24 hours.

I want to personally say I'm proud of all of you and look forward to what is ahead because I see nothing but creativity and great things head for everyone.

So from ME to you .. THANK YOU for being the best that you are and I hope that continues

XoXiDe / Jeff

its just something I'm in awe over honestly in such a short time so much has changed and yet to even happen that I am beyond impressed with everyone and what has happened over the last few days from you Yayie to everyone else.. How proud I am of your interactions, behavior or even efforts that have changed other people's opinions and got even others involved is something I can't even tell you how much that impacts now and down the road :)

    so keep it up

So much is happening, and I can't keep track of any of it. I'm bouncing back and forth from SimCity to SimCityPak to the forums, and it's crazy, but worth it.

Here's to four more years! Four more years! Four more years! :D

any future is going to be due to the group, community and people like yourself seth whom get involved not a person.. not a mod but the whole community coming together to solve and overcome obstacles.

This weekend since Friday .. I have seen people talking and bridging those gaps between developers, devtest and community and that is huge.. it will just take on a form of its own which is what it was always meant to do to begin with.

I want this to become something nobody ever thought of.

Wanted to express my continued thanks on behalf of community members that maybe only possess the skills to generate ideas for mods and get to enjoy the results of your hard work.  Thanks again all.

we are trying and learning more now in a shorter period of time than ever before in our 2013 community history and I do not see that changing but if anything accelerating.  We have new content planned for tomorrow and over the weekend based on the 1 week of new work and nearly 15 - 20 mods released with collaborative efforts and I thank again everyone involved for making that possible

    :)

we had a nice showing last night on dizzy's channel with maxis and most of the casters there .. I still put out a thank you to everyone again and again but I'm also asking for those whom wish to get their feet wet in modding and involved please hit us up

we have about 10 people now from simtrop now part of the base and we are making huge steps .. the more people involved the more change that can happen and happier people are with the city builder

our goal is what maxis promised and we are half way if not more there

YOUR CITY YOUR WAY... lets keep it going .. thanks to everyone ..

If you can make SimCityPak easier to understand or add some nice tutorials, i'd be happy to contribute! I already spend my day at work alone trying to crack how Blender works best for my specific field of design. :)

But I do love the simcity franchise and am eager to see this incarnation live up to it's potential. Kudo's to all modders who to it upon themselves to jumpstart a modding community!

in general I can mention things I ask .. but I can't talk about details of private conversations under NDA.. so I can tell you only somethings I ask in context.. I have built a relationship which we use to help the community and mods but I'm still under obligations as a result of that communication channel that was opened.

We are asking in general for specific changes that could open doors to new object types vehicle types and path and rule types which would make modding easier . however they need to be added to BIG portion of engine as soft updates not official ones..  which mean they may or may not happen and also may or may not have bugs or problems depending on implementation and use.

we are trying to just open up options for all of us.

SCP SimCityPak 4.0 beta is being tested and more features are being added and feedback given to oppie as it relates to the teams use and new objects we are building and creating a more streamline process.  Oppie has built some major objects which presented new problems and new challenges our teams have been doing new small objects but small big or large all objects are essentially the same.  We have found different OS's and systems and even different flavors of files from 3ds act differently presenting new challenges we are trying to just document these bugs and get the process and details worked out

But the group and those involved in the new decorations and new assets being added are all working together to help with this process to get more people involved in modding and make it easier

It just now simple fast or easy when you have a few people trying to help teach 10 people so they can run with it with 50 to 100 others.. this is the first part of getting it released more to the main stream users.

    So time and patience

    Jeff
