I'd love to see City of Saturnia in SC 2013. Anyhow, great start, everything seems to be in order but the Chinatown looks best.

No.  No.  Saturnia will never be portrayed by its creator in that putrid abomination of this glorious franchise!  No.  No. No!  No!! NO!!!

 

Anyway, in future updates I plan on doing more on Chinatown.  Cities XL is the game to play for creating Chinatowns.

Thank you for your replies.  I've begun work on a second entry to Saturnia, which will focus on the area around City Hall.

Also, there's something I've been meaning to say for this journal.  That is, I have a plethora of projects to work on, both in Cities XL, but more so in Sim City 4.  That much being said, it's quite likely that that new Cities XL city takes the place of this one.  Should that be the case, I will attempt to create as many entries for this as possible, but don't expect this journal to be active in a year.  I haven't made much progress on it, but it's easily looking better than Saturnia.  Also, we have two new city building games coming out in 2015, which also have potential.  Cities XXL will be hit or miss, so if it's a hit, expect a journal for that.  If it's a miss, there will be no CJ for that.  I also have to balance my academics, my own personal website, a few other endeavors I have to persue.  Don't get me wrong, I love Saturnia.  The Sim City 4 one will stay active indefinitely.  What I'm saying is that Saturnia for CXL(2012) will have a few more updates, but it's not my foremost concern.  I do have plans for new cities in this game, but those will come later.  For now, enjoy Saturnia.  There will be future entries, but its days are numbered.

I would like to say something before you comment.  As most of you know by now, Tuesday saw the release of the revered Cities: Skylines.  I confess to not buying the game upon release, although I've every intention of doing so.  The game has achieved veritable popularity, and has been the start of a new era for the city building genre as a whole.  That much being said, although I've thought extensively about it, I will indeed cancel this journal.  Four entries is too short, so I may do a few more before calling it all off.  Sadly, this journal will come to an end.  But like a phoenix, I'm happy to announce that I will be working on Saturnia: Skylines addition.  Thank you for reading.
