Games that you wish you'll never find in your local store. Scary video games with mysterious origins or just hoaxes? Haunted cartridges, cursed killer games and top secret experiments. Are they real or just creepypastas?

"If you try to please everybody, you often times end up pleasing nobody, especially yourself. When somebody offers to do a favor for free, like making a mod for SimCity 4, you shouldn't be overly critical of something generously given to you. In other words, you shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth." - Twilight Sparkle after playing SimCity

"Being a mayor or a content creator for SimCity 4 is a heavy responsibility, Patrick. Each city and each custom content is like a child, and must be treated as such." - SpongeBob Squarepants after playing SimCity

"Without deviation from the norm, progress is not possible." - Frank Zappa

"The wisest men follow their own direction." - Euripides

5. Pokemon Black - Fake

4. Ben Drowned - Fake, creator admitted it.

3. Polybius - Maybe, who knows?

2. Berzerk! - Is real, who knows if the curse is?

1. Killswitch - Fake.

That's just my guess.

I still fascinated by Polybius. Is it real? What genre is it?

Is it really a government project? Is it even considered a game? Is there anyone in Portland remembers playing it?

lotta bull these days on the internets.

but its a matter of fact that there's always been bright minds messing with game cardridges or rather the content stored on them. just that it wasn't as easy to distribute hacked games back in the days, so it basically came down to know someone who knows someone who can make things happen... and evey now and then these cardridges pop up at a garage sale.

dunno bout these arcade boxes tho, sounds like their content hasn't been messed with.

of course gaming can result in hazardous situations. the wellknown photosensitive reactions every game or console warns us about are just one of these, same for the occasional news of ppl, preferably in southeastern asia, that played themselves to death in several days long sessions...

Fair enough to suppose that the adrenaline rush and excitement of setting new highscores can lead to lifethreatening conditions too. not with a healthy person as claimed in this video tho.

I wouldn't mind to play that Pokémon Ghost Black, a new twist to the saga with 1st and 2nd Gen flavour (which everybody knows were the best).

I guess all these games are just hoaxes, but well, at least they are used to have a good time watching videos on YouTube about them.
